Give back when you can
So I was at the grocery store tonight buying my normal 300 bucks worth of food for the week, when I was in line there was a young mother with 2 small children she is getting he items rang up and the cashier says ok it's 87.09 and some change she looked pale as she counted he money and was short by like 23 bucks so she started putting back milk and a few other items and I said merry Christmas you keep your items and I slid my card for her whole amount I paid for mine and the lady was waiting for me in the lobby of the grocery store in tears , she gave me a hug and thanked me she started to tell me that her husband was deployed overseas in the army she had lost her job and things was tight , and said I had no idea how much she appreciated that because she was worried that she would not be able to get her to kids anything for xmas and now she would at least get them sonething , you could genuinely tell she was grateful. It was with the 87 dollars because of how it made me feel to help a fellow service man serving but to help her out . Do what you can and don't assume everyone is trying to scam you there are people that truly appreciate your generosity

RustyhookerThat's just awesome right there. When I was making bigger money, I'd go to subway and get a ton of 6in sandwiches, collect blankets and coats. Drive downtown and pass em out to the homeless. At least they got a quick meal and chance to be warm.

I dont do it anymore for 2 reasons one- i gave a guy ten bux who said he was hungry and needed a bus ticket and he walked over to a bottle shop in front of me a two i gave some guy a jump start with my car and my battery ended up flat and not starting and he drove off so fuck strangers.

I am a steel worker and our rep said we can't spend money on charity so we as a shop come together and every year we do better I am the only guy under 30 who gives we raised 350 in toys for a orphanage then we adopted 3 family's and 1 military family this year and we where able to give each 250 and a 50 dollar card to a grocery store! No lie my favorite day is about two weeks after the first of the year the families come in or send us cards and pictures it makes me happy knowing some that are truly just having a hard time can atleast have a Christmas with there families! Haha I feel like I need a novadex now jk

i don't often do things like that but you could tell she and her family was struggling . I have a soft spot for kids but when people are actually trying to help themselves and not look for a hand out those people deserve the most in my book
