Lab Results
I've been on 600mg Test Enth for a month now. As well as Peptides. CJC1295, Ipamorelin, GHRP-2 Blend, Fragment 176-191 and IGF-1 LR3.
Unfortunately, I didn't do blood work prior to going on, well, I did but the doctor didn't put Testosterone, Prolactin and LH on it. I just got my results yesterday. My concern is my kidney took a hit, my Prolactin is quite high and I wouldn't be able to fertilize a woman (which is not a concern) but wondering why LH is very low when I have high Testosterone. And is it the Testosterone that is affecting my kidney or the Peptides? or both? Should I cut out the Peptides? Lower my Test?
Creatinine 90 Reference: 60-127 umol/L
Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR) 92 (Used to be 112 prior to taking Test Enth)
Normal eGFR is described as greater than or equal
to 90 ml/min/1.73 m2.
Thyroid Stimulating Hormone [TSH] 3.12 Reference: 0.30-5.60 mIU/L
Pituitary Function:
Luteinizing Hormone [LH] LO 0.3 Reference: 1.2-8.6 IU/L
Prolactin 11.4 Reference: 2.6 - 13.1 ug/L
Reproductive and Gonadal:
Testosterone HI 51.1 Reference: 6.0-27.0 nmol/L
Thank you in Advance for any help.

Ok so you are trying some sort of TRT on your own I guess. Get your fucking dose down to 150mg/wk MAX! You are on a heavy ass cycle of test, keep it up and you are going to hate life.
x2 or kill yourself with a stroke.
JoeyTorontoEndo doctor told me to get off it altogether because I've got normal levels, but said he puts people at 150 a week or every 2 weeks. It's not that I'm going to hate life, it's that it's ruining my insides, within a week it brought down my liver etc and skyrocketed my test levels.
What were your levels before starting this?
JoeyTorontoMy other doctor for some reason only did testosterone free tests before all this when I told her otherwise, it was at 296 at 2pm, so the Endo said at 2pm that level is reasonable and would of been higher if done in the morning when the test should of been done. He also said test free test is not a good test to go by, but has an idea of where my levels were at.
What is the reference range on that?
JoeyTorontoFor Test Free is 196 to 636, after doing 600mg for 6 weeks it's now at whooping 4446. After learning all this, I'm either discontinuing it or going very low 150 every week.
That seems like a total test number not free test, if so 296 is not a good number. You have 2 choices. PCT 2 weeks from now, or drop that dose down to 100mg-150mg. If you choose to drop the dose make sure to get bloods pulled again in a month to see what is going on.
JoeyTorontoIt's Test Free
Testosterone Free HI 4446 Reference: 196-636 pmol/L
Are you running a cycle or is this some kind of TRT?
looking at the numbers he posted, it was supposed to be a cycle but turned out to be some kind of trt
JoeyTorontoTRT
Touche' lol
Your LH is low because you have introduced exogenous testosterone. Your brain sees the high test levels and isn't producing LH because it doesn't think you need it.
Your prolactin is within range. I wouldn't worry about it if you don't have symptoms
Can't help with kidneys other than to ask the obvious:
How is is your liquid intake? Drinking enough water?
JoeyTorontoI drink tons of water, that's all I drink, I don't soda, alcohol etc, 2 coffee's a day and Matcha Green Tea after dinner. But I'm known to drink lots of water.
Any elevated enzyme or wbc counts?
JoeyTorontoWBC is about the same. IS there another name on the lab results that enzymes goes by?
Missed that.
What about urine output? Are you having kidney pain?
90 is actually a pretty low number on creatine for a guy that is big and lifts heavy.
JoeyTorontoYesterdays result is 100 if that makes any difference, but I've only been doing this since Aug '15. Barbells, squats, dead lifts. Before that just dumb bells.
Yep. Mine are always flagged high - doc says it is normal for people with more muscle mass.
Good point on the kidney issue... especially true within the context of high protein intake.
TSH number sucks, it is in range, but the range is seen by some as set to high.
Need to check T3 & T4 etc. TSH alone is not a thyroid panel.
Testosterone is known for increasing prolactin levels, but only a little bit. yours is in range, so carry on.
Creatine gets elevated after heavy workouts, yours is well in range. GTG
LH should be tanked.... your HPTA axis sees you have lots of testosterone and quit telling your gonads to make ,more.
Your test is only 2x the normal high end. conversion puts this at about 1500 ng/dl
your testosterone is week as shit for 600 mg a week
JoeyTorontoI regret not getting blood work prior to taking it for me to compare.
It's only been a month since I started the test..I'm also on Dutasteride (Avodart) for hair loss, have been on it for years, before that Propecia, heard Avodart is more affective. Don't know if that has any affect on the #'s.
If my #'s should be higher perhaps it's the quality of the test I am on..
JoeyTorontoAnyone know why my Prolactin be high with a high testosterone? Usually it's associated with low test.
It's not high.
JoeyTorontoThat's strange because sometimes it's itchy around the nipple area and a couple of nights there's a burning sensation around there too. I hope the hormone doctor will help out even though I will tell him I'm on test on my own. I'm seeing him for the 1st time, we have to be referred by a doctor, he requested the blood test 1 week prior to the appointment, so he's going to wonder why I want to see him when my test is high..lol..I was impatient and bought test after making the appointment. There was a 6 week waiting list which is typical for seeing a specialist in Canada, well depending on if you live in the populated city or not which I do.
I don't see any tests for estrogen level. High estrogen can often cause itching / burning in the nipples.
JoeyTorontoI got more blood work done. My estrogen is high, my liver has been affected and Prolactin raised, my cholesterol is higher.
Estradiol HI 238 Reference: 0-172pmol/L
Prolactin HI 16.0 Reference: 2.6 - 13.1 ug/L
Creatine Kinase HI 277 Reference: BELOW 210 U/L
Alanine Aminotransferase HI 76 Reference: 4-43U/L
Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR) 81 Reference: Over 90
So it's obvious I need to decrease my dosage and take something for the liver and estrogen. I'm seeing a Endo today I hope he will help out. My doctor dis-encouraged taking any Testosterone and told me to get off it. Which is expected.
A good AI like aromasin or arimidex will help that estradiol level. Cabergoline can help with the prolactin. If your test levels are off the charts, you should lower your dose. Typical TRT is 100-200mg/ week. From what I have seen, dialing in a TRT dose can take quite a while and you want to be in the high normal range for your age - probably somewhere around 600-800. Any more will affect you negatively like you have here with high estrogen, prolactin, and eventually cholesterol issues and all the cardiovascular trouble that goes with it. Hopefully the endo is willing to work with you to get all this dialed in. If at all possible, it is better to be under a doc's supervision rather than play the guessing game.
JoeyTorontoNope, he told me to get off it altogether. Says I'm going to lose my hair since I'm prone to hair loss which I am as I'm on Avodart and says I will screw up my system and now is the time to get off it since I've only been on it for 6 weeks.
Losing your hair isn't as big a deal as risking a stroke by fucking up your RBC and cholesterol levels. I'd say dump the Avodart too and just man the fuck up and shave your head. There are many things you can do to raise your testosterone levels naturally - losing abdominal fat, getting regular exercise, eating clean. Even supplements like tribulus or DAA have been proven to raise levels naturally. Clomid or HCG therapy is also and option you might talk to your doc about. I think T-rex has a post in TRT about that here, I will try to find it.
JoeyTorontoYea, I requested more blood work without seeing the doctor just told her I'm on test and want everything done. I doubt she'll send me just the requisition without seeing her or just say see the endo on Friday.
