Water retention and diet during cycle

ad

My diet is fairly clean, not much sugar, low carb and no cereal or wheat.

I'm running a 500mg test e cycle and not holding much water at all.

Sometimes I can't avoid sugar and carbs - traveling/family events and such and I notice my weight goes up a kilo the next day, obviously water retention as it drains out a day or two later when I have been eating clean again.

If I understand right though, the muscles benefit being full of water to help them take up the nutrients from the food.
So should I be adjusting my diet and eating more carb so I keep more water than I am?

Depends on what your goal for the cycle is. You can manipulate your diet however you want to, just depends on what you want to accomplish.

Looking to bulk, so I guess I need the water!

Lol yup, definitely need some clean carbs in there. And being a little loose with your diet sometimes is ok, hell unless you are in a contest prep I think it's almost necessary. Helps keep the sanity ;-)

Everything in moderation, if you feel like you are too bloated you know what to do to manipulate your diet to get things under control. Any blood work done recently?
