+ 3 GRILLED CHCICKEN MARINADES
Just wanted to share with everyone my go to grilled chicken prep. If you're anything like me and constantly stuffing your face throughout the day with chicken these marinades may help you switch it up a bit.
I'll start by saying- for some, but not all some ingredients may make you stray away due to calories, fats, sugars ect..
I'm sure we've all played the game of "how much marinade is actually still being consumed"
From what I've noticed when grilled my chicken doesn't seem to be over saturated in flavor, just gives it a little extra taste. So for all people who don't mind and aren't on a strict diet hope you enjoy!
A lot of these are sorta taste as you go depending on how much chicken you plan on using.
Spicy fiesta lime-
in large ziplock bag pour around 1 cup of fiesta lime dressing,
-chop jalapeƱo pepper to taste (seeds or no seeds) and add to bag
- add one half like juice to bag (you can also add the squeezed lime in the bag)
- add a nice ammount of fresh chopped cilantro to bag
- add mrs.dash chipotle seasoning (until dressing changes tint-or to taste)
- add mrs dash lime seasoning (very flavorful so watch the amounts
- add mrs. dash chicken seasoning
Take a long spoon and mix very well, don't be afraid to take a little taste- and then you can adjust based on that.
Add chicken to bag, shake up, mix around- then let all air out of the bag, reseal. Throw it in the fridge for a couple hours and you're set.
My go to marinade: couldn't think of a cool name for it..
In a large ziplock bag
-1 cup or so of creamy balsamic
-1-2 tablespoons of spicy mustard
-pepper to taste
-garlic powder
-mr dash garlic and herb
-mrs dash chicken( I load this seasoning in there for this one)
-red pepper flakes(couple good shakes)
Or
-mrs dash extra spicy (couple shakes)
Take a long spoon and mix all together nicely, then give it to taste. The easiest part is if you're unsure start off small with the seasonings and after tasting you can add more of whatever as you feel..don't worry Gordan Ramsey isn't going to bust into your kitchen and make you feel worthless.
Add chicken, mix around well, take air out of bag, throw it in the fridge for a few hours and you're set.

dropdzzCoate chicken breast with coco and garlic and rice bran oil.Heat a grill pan on stove until very hot cook for two minutes on each side pun into oven pre heated at 450 for four minutes on each side. For sauce heat natural peanut butter and chicken stock and stir until smoothie .let chicken rest and slice serve with sauce.
I also serve with buckwheat noodles and cruciferis veggies.
bigmurphI do the glad lock bag with garlic, soy sauce cut 3.1 with water and use low sodium version. Let rest in bag for atleast 6 hrs. You can use this on breast, tenders legs and thighs. The chicken stays so soft its amazing.
Enjoy brothers
The balsamic and the lime don't cook the chicken from all the acidity like a civicha
I used to do something like that, soysauce, garlic, onion powder, chili paste, some melted peanut butter or some peanut butter powder (could go horribly wrong if not mixed right haha) Nice and spicy. Good looks on the marinade, going to throw this in to my weekly mix.
bigmurphYeah that's called soy peanut ginger sauce not the exact recipe but its what they serve with chicken satay at restaurants i love that stuff
Easy idea. Thanks
It's great when your pressed on time. Between cleaning the chicken up and making the marinade takes me about 15 minutes tops. If anyone tweaks the recipie a little and adds something let me know always willing to try it out.
