+ 1 Need advice
Hi there, Im new to this whole thing and I need some advice from someone who possibly was in my position.
I am 21, 5'10 and about 170 pounds. My goal right now is to get faster than I was, about a year ago I ran the 100 in about 10.6 - 10.8 seconds depending on the day and how I was feeling. My 200M was also decently fast but I honestly dont remember the exact time. I have played hockey my whole life, football, soccer, rugby you name it. Anyways due to life I've kind of fell off the last year but I want to get back to my old self plus maybe some extra speed and agility would be nice.
So my question is as someone with a very strong base in athletics, specifically speed, what would be the best cycle for me to get faster, and stronger than before ? Ive seen some threads saying to stack with winny, as winstrol is the best choice for gaining speed and agility. I am pretty sure thats what Ben Johnson loved to use, but anyways what do I know
On a side note before people ask I have a strong base knowledge of the gym, and eating healthy and how to eat while training for different situations so I dont need advice on any of that kind of stuff.
Thanks for the help I really do appreciate it alot, I kind of assume Winstrol will be a given but I just want to hear a few other opinions before I dive into that. Thanks so much,
JD

Try running on sand and consider getting a parachute to use when training for your events. This helped me a lot when I was playing football.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!
Another one ready for entering the Shark Tank.
AnonYou are too young to be here basically.... Nobody is gonna advise you on a steroid cycle.... Your an athlete? Ok so don't go fucking that up.... Not to mention your natural test production..... 10 hrs sleep... Effective training.... Proper diet is all you need and stay dedicated to it.
Well at least he didn't come on and post a fake age,but you are right no need for steroids at his age .
TronIf you do steroids you will die.
mm sounds legit
shit
bigmurphAt your age the best thing you can do to increase your speed and times is to get out on the track with a sled dragging behind you and for speed the dragging shouts will definitely help with your take off from the lines. When I was involved in this type of sports those were my 2 goto that really helped with that also find your fastest competition and train together with him it will get you both competing against each other and I believe that is another way to get to where you want competition breeds good training
Good luck brother
I read you say below that from here on out your times will only be marginal, thats if you let them be get out there and train. Thats like me saying because I just ruptured my bicep I will never be able to lift what I used to and I can promise you im going to lift as much as I used to plus more.
It sounds like you're giving up don't ever give up.
Thanks for the reply bro,
Yeah I do train like that about 3 times a week, as opposed to 6 or 7 like I used to. My biggest problem is I live in Canada & for the majority of the year there is 4 feet of snow on the ground lol which as you can imagine makes it painfully hard to train for sprinting. Sometimes me and friends will take a trip to the local track facility and get in our parachute/weight training but its very expensive to use that space. It was easier because in highschool these kind of facilities were free.
Other than that I am in the gym a few times a week working on my power as much as I can but nothing really compares to actually getting on the track. I also play hockey/soccer/football so it would helpwith those sports to. My biggest problem is since me and the girlfriend broke up ive been eating dirtier than ever and im starting to to feel the effects on my body, especially after eating as healthy as possible my whole life.
bigmurphI was born not to far away from Ottawa so I know about the snow. You have to figure it out its not easy.
What all of us here do is not easy. Even if you were to take a compound its not going to magically make you fast while you take things you have to train even harder than normal so you can get something ojt of it alot of time and discipline goes into what all the guys here do it doesn't just come to them because they take this substance or that substance. There is still alot of blood and sweat going into what comes out
Oh cool man, whereabouts?
And yeah I know, and like I said earlier I know that a 10.6 second time for 100m is very fast, and I am willing to train harder and go back to eating as perfect as possible. Point is I just want to see just how fast I can really get, and gaining some lean mass would be a bonus for me ;) I have the training knowledge for it, the boost from compound is very alluring and Ive been thinking about it for a while.
Since me and the girlfriend broke up ive been drinking ALOT, and I know that heavy drinking destroys lives so the prospect of training with gear is enough to make me stop drinking.
But it seems many knowledgeable people have already told me to wait, or think about it more so I will probably do that. Thanks brother
If you've been consuming a lot of alcohol then your body and especially liver are taxed already. You don't want to add more to it by using steroids. Clean up, which will naturally raise your test levels, and look into supplements, pre workouts to add energy and explosivenes to your workout. With steroids, you will gain weight, which I assume is not a good thing for a runner. Stay away from any aas until you're at least 25. Doesn't make sense to add hormones when your body is in it's hormonal prime
bigmurphWrong stop drinking and your training will come back
Taking any compounds like what you spoke of at your age will take you one step forward but you will go 3 steps back as soon as you're done its just a bad idea solve the problems you have then get back to training and you will be fine
You're too young. We don't advise under 25's.
Have you even thought about doing some sprinter training routines?
Yeah man, have been since I was about 14 years old. I tried to make that kind of more obvious my bad. I just dont want to sound like a dick but I know that a 10.6 second 100 m time is fast, going into highschool I was running about a 11.2 on average and at graduation after a few years training I was running a little slower than a year ago. I tried to make it clear that I have been training in sprinting for a long time
You got it all figured out, note my sarcasm and Good Luck!
I know I don't, that's why I asked for advice
Quote: On a side note before people ask I have a strong base knowledge of the gym, and eating healthy and how to eat while training for different situations so I dont need advice on any of that kind of stuff.:
if everything is perfect you have ZERO need for aas at your age because you should be excelling in any sport you do. besides you have zero need for aas at your age anyways, too much natty test flowing through you to even think about putting anything in your system besides food.
With all due respect brother, I nowhere anywhere in that post said everything is perfect. I said I have a strong base knowledge, not I eat and train perfect, in fact if you want to quote I said the last year Ive been far from it, Big difference.
Ive been training for sprinting since the day I found out I was blessed with speed, thats all I was trying to say.
1..2..3........SIGH:/
If it makes any difference I am completely new to using any forum at all, let alone a place like this with people with a ton of experience
What's wrong bro? Sounds like you got the blahs. OP just wants some advice on steroids. He already knows everything else, including the first aas that anyone would mention.
