+ 1 14% bf cutting to 8% advice for abs.
ad
I am currently at 14% bf trying to cut down to 8%.
I am on a calorie defecit of 1900 cal. And will do cardio 40 min/day 4 days a week. And also have clen should i use this or will cardio and diet be good enough? Also Whenever i bulked i never really had any direct ab workouts so i am going to do abs 5x per week for 10 min. Before workout. My second question is is this the best way to build them when doing cardio or should i just do them 3x per week?
Thanks for the comments. Any other advice will glady be appreciated.

Are you on a daily deficit of 1900kcal or are you taking in 1900kcal?!
Cardio; Cardio is just a tool you use if you plateau. The main deficit should come from nutrition and lifting heavy. When you stall, add in a day of cardio. Continue, track progress and when you stall again, either add another day or lower kcal a bit more. Personal preference.
A good ratio of a caloric deficit would be 80% from nutrition and 20% from cardio.
Abs; You will already have some abs. How big they're already will you see when you're getting down to a lower BF. Abs are muscles like all the others as well so you want to train them the same way. You wouldn't train bench 5xper for 10 min, would you?
2x times is already plenty when you've never trained them directly before. Do them with resistance, Ie. weighted exercises in the 8-15 rep range.
Good exercises would be weighted crunches, rope pulldown, leg raises, ab wheel rollout, planks.
Hey Joseluis I'm going to cut right through the bro science hesr, this is coming from someone who has completed on a provincial and national stage. The abs 5x a week is to much, first you are in a calorie deficit so your not going to be adding any size your abdomen. The whole goal when cutting is to lose as much fat as possible while loosing as little muscle possible this is our only goal! I personally haven't ever done Clen when cutting but won't hurt. Biggest staple is your diet, when your having issues dropping bf start carb cycling I'm sure there's a thread on here about it and drop the 4 x a week cardiovascular to 2 times steady state and 1 hitt session for 15 minutes cheers
Diet is 80% of your goal, exercise is 15%, and genetics / gear is the remaining 5%. Clen is part of that 5%...and is meant to help you push past your genetic limitations. Go natty first and for as long as you can.
Clen will help if you want to use it and don't mind bein a shaky jake lol depending on quality and how much you use. However I will tell you right now that if you are starting at a 1900 cal defecit that is a big mistake. Don't do that brochacho. Skim calories in small increments as you fat drops and your bmr changes due to your calories changing. What ever diet you were on just take like 100-200 calories away from carbs and or fats at a time checking the scale like once a week. you will lose a little bit of fat. Then when your body adjusts to the calories you are consuming and progress halts another 100-150-200 calories then again and again. when the scale doesn't change for 2 consecutive weeks you are probably going to need to drop calories. But if you just drop 1900, you will lose muscle most likely and after your BMR adapts you have to start skimming again and you eventually aren't going to have calories left to skim. Then you are going to have to reverse diet and that's going to take a bunch more time. I hoped this helps. Feel free to ask me any other questions and I will be glad to try and help you.
How's the progress? Should be seeing some good results by now.
Fasted cardio on the stairs 30 min....a speed u can finish 30 min on.
Cardio 20 min post workout on stairs.
Eat clean....u don't need the clen.
Everyone has abs....it's just a handful of us have the determination and discipline to do what needs to be done....hard work and consistency.
That's all I have to say...gonna go eat Mexican food...
Don't worry I just competed few weeks ago...i deserve it.
