MK 677 Growth Hormone secretagogue

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/9467534/

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/9349662/

I've used MK 677 and found it effective but still believe ghrp 2 and 6 give better results.

Dosing protocol:
25 mg is the standard dose, and you can take this in the A.M. or P.M.

Updates? Is it causing diabetes such as pharma gh?

Hey guys what peps can be used in conjunction with MK? CJC dac sounds like it should be used. Anything else? Also any idea on how this would compare to running a CJC/Ipam or -2 combo? Cheers

humpnpump's picture

Don't know to much about it. I've seen one guy awhile back pull bloods running mk 677 @ 50mg ed and cjc dac get his igf close to 300.

What kind of testing should be done with mk? Should I get igf-1 or gh serum? Whats protocol?

humpnpump's picture

Serum test is pointless because mk 677 makes the body release GH in pulses. Igf would be better, but I don't see much point in getting igf's for mk 677 because it's not going to make igf rise anything like GH would, and you should be able to tell if the mk 677 is working or not.

Virtual edit the first paragraph, can't talk about that, it's against the rules. Try google

I've also read about taking 12.5mg a day initially. May start there, will post results.

Lastly, any evidence for taking melatonin with it? Read that it can reduce somatostatin, increasing the GH release.

Anyone try stacking ibutamoren with berberine? Seems to me this would be a great way to alleviate the insulin resistance it is purported to cause.

humpnpump's picture

Had to google it. That's an amazing supplement. So many positive effects. I personally just use metformin occasionally if I'm eating a lot of carbs or running GH over 4 ius, but I'm may give berberine a shot. Have you used this supplement before?

Nils Georg's picture

I have been using metformin as well during my current godtropin/levemir/log protocol, but recently learned it reduces IGF-1 signaling: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19906888

Mike Arnold at PM has been saying great things about the berberine, I have some on the way and will switch over ASAP.

Awesome! Drop back in and let me know how it works for you.

I'm loving this stuff so far. Stacked it with cjc dac and it's a noticeable jump from running dac solo without all the pins. First week was rough being sleepy all the time but now that I'm getting a bit more used to it I'm loving it

humpnpump's picture

That sounds good, please keep us updated on this little stack. I might have to try this one.

kh1216's picture

Will do. You think it would be worth pulling igf # on this or would it not show an increase?

humpnpump's picture

I remember a member I think his user name was quintobold or something. Ran cjc Dac and 50 mg mk 677 and pulled around 300 on igf, pretty sure it was 292 igf. If you got the money and time to pull igf, go ahead it can only help you and the community here.

FillTheSyringe's picture

One guy posted some running my mk. Cant remember his name tho

kh1216's picture

I'm only running 2mg dac a week and 30mg mk a day so I don't know how high it'll be but once I'm post cycle I'll be getting bloods anyway so I can throw in the igf if it's worthwhile no problem.

humpnpump's picture

Sounds like a plan.
