+ 3 wife/GF, or husband/BF knowledge

ad

Just curious how many of you that use AAS and either tell your significant others or not.

I personally have not shared with my wife. Maybe I should, but I have a couple reasons I do not.
My first would be to protect her. What she does not know.....
Secondarily, not sure she would be supportive in this case.

Yeah, I am sure some would say I am being dishonest, or unfair.

Thoughts??

I have found that in the long run things you keep from the wife tend to bite you in the ass more than if you just are up front about it... And plus now I have someone to help pin when I can't reach properly. Sound cliche but honesty and trust goes a long way.

CBBurrr's picture

I just told my wife a couple hours ago. It was a tough conversation to start but ended with some great sex and her saying that if I want to inject testosterone into my ass it's fine with her.

Generator's picture

Right on man !

win3200's picture

fucking sweet bro that's how it went for me. When I told my wife she started crying by the afternoon she was giving up the booty. Oh and after about a week she was all for me running gear, she loved the way I was a walking hard on. Now she asking when am I going back on lol.

CBBurrr's picture

Yesterday was a little bit rough, it started to sink in that I had lied to her for over a year. It was a pretty big hit to the relationships trust factor. We had some long, from the heart discussions and are back on track.

Like everyone has said below, breaking the trust factor in s relationship has consequences and I'm lucky my gal is getting over it as quick as she did. It leads to thoughts like... if he lied about this, maybe he's lieing about not being a cheater too.
That Ashley Madison hack, and the fact that they have 39 million registered users got her thinking about cheaters.

win3200's picture

Time heals all wounds brother, imo you did the right thing man. Hiding something from the woman you share your bed with is never a good idea. Hopefully she will be able to put it past her over time, just be an open book for her to remove all doubt. She sounds like a great woman, is sure it will all work out.

CBBurrr's picture

things dis better quickly, and we seem to be back to normal again.
I'll tell you what having a quilt trip while your e2 is a little high is a very "non-manly" experience.
I was a wreck.

I'm still glad I finally came clean, only regret is not doing it right from the start.

win3200's picture

Lol I bet.

Generator's picture

It's really cool to see you go through the change successfully. Hats off to you man.

tonytulo's picture

congrats cb happy for you.

kodiakGRRL's picture

Good for you CB

CBBurrr's picture

I wasn't sure which direction the conversation was headed. It started because of my obviously jacked up libido and she says to me WTF, so I get to feel 50 and you get to feel 16.... that aint fair.

I did remind her to talk to her Dr about her hormones and that while I could easily acquire female hormones for her, female hormones and HRT are not really a do- it- yourself project.

tonytulo's picture

that's great advice?

fusebox's picture

Hell yeah cb. When my wife found out I thought the world was ending. But in all actuality a huge weight was taken off my shoulders. No more sneaking around. It's going to make your life a lot easier going forward

shoktordoctor's picture

I believe if you have a intelligent open minded wife and you yourself are intelligent and can keep your emotions in check and teach her the real world statistics of aas use and how the same politician or law enforcement that demonizes the subject is themselves using some form of PED, show me bodies, show me the studies they can't prove shit . dude the DEA told congress in 89 it was not a problem and a waste of resources

CBBurrr's picture

I'm starting with the pre-confession generosity. Just got a big bonus for getting a project done ahead of schedule and said, "honey, I think we should spend this on something nice for you"
It sounds petty, but I'm convinced it will ease the tension a little. Especially with the questions of how much I spend on steroids.

win3200's picture

dude when I told my wife I took her to macys and dropped 1k on clothes for her she is more than worth it though,

Generator's picture

Everybody has their own recipe brother. It's cool you're making strides, shows character.

NoWeakAces's picture

I'll make this short.

I love my wife and I'm very happily married 13 years now.

I want to stay happy and I want to stay married.

So I tell the truth.

I wanted to jump in and share. I am 30 and have a girlfriend that is the one... The thing is, myself and her are both not in a rush. The other night she was looking for my phone while I was laying in bed and checked my backpack... I had some free promo winny in there. She later very sincerely asked me what the pills were...it was 12am, really late for me, and I was exhausted. I hesitated and told her it's blood pressure meds and that was that. I felt bad being dishonest, and I am slowly building up to telling her. I just didn't want to do it then. She is a smart cookie, but like most these days...definitely influenced by media, occasionally referring to guys on steroids having mood swings and roid rage. The funny thing is...I'm one of the most mellow guys around. I am very calm and never anger, I will discuss things and tell her how I feel but rarely show much emotion. So I am sure many of the bros here know this...but shocker, I am the same cycle or not on cycle...I'm a nice guy. So while she's been with me, I'm basically the opposite of this perception she sees.

I believe in honesty in a relationship, but as advised by this community...I am holding off. We are still learning about each other...we're coming up on a year and a half. It's nothing that affects us yet. Obviously for long term, there comes the issue of sterility. I am taking every step to not screw up my endocrine system for the rest of my life...but it's still a risk, and I feel as though she should know I am taking that risk. She will accept and forgive me eventually ( I would think) about my timing of when to share this.

The fact that I am lifting more, recovering faster, having better sex, doesn't really affect her negatively. I have a lot of self-reflection and I know when I am off base occasionally, but the steroids don't really go to my head. I've taken Tren before and felt the anxiety it gave me and was able to combat that. Regardless, it was more of an internal struggle.

I guess what I am saying is before I wife her up, I will tell her...but during the discovering process of each other. I'll disclose the information when I'm ready. I still haven't told her every detail of my life...but in a year and a half I don't think I'm expected to have.

As for some of the posters mentioning religion...I really think the topic got derailed a little bit. Thanks for everyone's input on the topic. This is something that's been on my mind for over a year. I was going to tell my girlfriend of 2.5 months (the same girl) of my use because I was on cycle when we met. Many guys told me to hold off, and I appreciate and now fully agree with the advice. I've been slowly exposing her to information to try to dispel the years of misinformation...but it'll come with time.

I know I am rambling...but last but not least. This would COMPLETELY not be an issue if steroids would be legal. I was wondering why they were illegal, and my opinion is they regulated them and outlawed steroids so that now big pharma can make money of it. They stigmatized it...which is why some of us have to be secret. So society is partially to blame!

and tell her how I feel but rarely show much emotion.

Tren will cure that! LMAO!

johnmarshall12's picture

The Tren Train brings em out for sure! Not always good though. Hisst fits from low E2 and DHT rage from all Mast no Test!

Pale's picture

Same here.

Drop-set's picture

Funny thing is, I honestly believe test puts me in a better mood. Tried t-bol recently and it definitely makes me on edge for some reason. D-bol never did...

palmcoaster's picture

at my age, I fully disclose my routine with the wife. I'm to old to sneak around and hide anything from her. Ive been married for over 20 years so why start sneaking now. She has decided now to do some homework of her own to get into better condition.

CBBurrr's picture

I'm a little jealous. I wish I could make it that easy.

Drop-set's picture

When I met my ex I was on test cycle. Snuck a couple more and she didnt catch on.

i-fitpharma's picture

i would never hide anything from my wife, or at-lest not AAS use, if she find out am hidden something that simple she could think am hidden something else( another girl for example)

kodiakGRRL's picture

lmao.. it started out about honesty ;-) .. you should add morals and values to that list

kodiakGRRL's picture

If we were birds that would be a good thing ;-)

zeusmarada's picture

What a great conversation. The irony of this is, many men use AAS so they can be stronger for their families, and the added libido sounds like it is indeed a plus, especially for men no longer in their prime. Yet for me, as a married man and father, I too worry about the ramifications of any legal action that might come down on me if "things got weird with the law" and how that would effect my ability to take care of my loved ones. We want strength to care for and to protect the people we love. Part of that protection can be strangely justified by not telling a significant other, especially if those significant others are "rule followers." Great conversation indeed.

IrishMack's picture

many men use aas to be stronger for their families? please clarify this as it could be taken in many different ways. Strength to take care of your family comes from inside not in a vial of test. If someone broke into my house to rob me im certainly not going to flex for them in hopes it will scare them away or think my muscle size will be a deterrant for someone disrespecting me. my beretta and my boxing will take care of that not my muscles.

zeusmarada's picture

@IrishMack, You are on the money with that statement above! Strength to take care of your family comes from within, not from pills or vials indeed. Well said! Damn. Sadly, I fear there are many men out there that don't understand that simple statement.

Regardless of what any tax collectors or ex girlfriends may say about you, you're a good cat in my book. That really did nail it.

I guess my statement regarding "using AAS to help love your family" does indeed need clarifying. I like to look as good as I can look, and I enjoy the strength that I have. But with age, like all of us, I'm slowing down, regardless of my training and diet, which is mostly as good as I can have with the other time commitment choices I've made. (I love to lift, but I'm no athlete, nor do I compete.)

Long term, I have two young boys who are hard to keep up with! When they are young men in the coming decades, I simply assume that I will benefit greatly from the added strength and energy that AAS in conjunction with my own training and diet can add to my own life. When I'm sixty and beyond, I wanna rock. Wanna play baseball? Let's go. Hike to the top of the mountain? Try and keep up with daddy. That sort of thing.

kodiakGRRL's picture

wtf... you aren't going to flex???

IrishMack's picture

I might end up hurting myself if I do that.

kodiakGRRL's picture

well no one wants to see that happen lol

zeusmarada's picture

@kodianGRRL & IrishMack, you two should not be allowed in public places together. Or bars. The place would be drank dry, and all hell would break loose. Thanks for that laugh, you two. Cheers indeed!

IrishMack's picture

Every state put a restraining order out that me and grrl cannot be together, even purely platonic relationships can be fatal.

kodiakGRRL's picture

someone would end up in the pokey thats for sure ;-)

IrishMack's picture

of course not, unless the intruder has a sense of humor
