Most neglected body part?
ad
I would say the most neglected body part among people in the gym was obviously legs. I'm seeing a new trend...lack of back. Seems like the most popular lifts are chest and bis.
what an odd look...big pecs and a thin back.

Hitman187Even though they dont really look out of proportion from the rest of my body i would have to say my quads. Few years ago i tore my acl and was told i needed surgery. A week or two after the injury i was walking fine again so i said fuck it and put off the surgery, but now im scared to train quads and squat like id want to. The knee joint is only ment to move back and fourth. The Ligaments in the knee keep it from giving out and bending from side to side. With a tendon torn i feel like my knee is not as structuraly as sound and voulnerable when pushing heavy weight. Plus my damaged knee clicks everytime i bend my leg, i dont know if its from the injury but it bugs me out. I still squat but i just dont pack the weight on the bar like i would like to because im scared of my knee giving out and doing curther damage.
Shoulders. ....for some reason I just hate to train them. Some people dread leg day we'll I dread shoulders. Weird shit...lol....still hit em just not like some of you animals I'm sure
Lack of rear delts IMO! I think people get self consious about the legs now more than ever.
Brachialis or abs
Rear delts
Yup same here I'm trying hard to make them pop out
Never understood skipping calves. They are an easy and comfortable part to hit.
The funny thing about hitting chest but not back, is your pecs and front delts will pull your shoulders forward and make you slouch.
No. Not comfortable at all. I hit them so hard they feel like they're going to burn right off my legs... I'm not blessed with giant calf genes, so I can't do calf day comfortably.
As far as the should thing you mention, that's actually got a clinical name, anterior shoulder tilt, and it's generally seen in the frail and elderly. Seeing it in a young gym-goer is hilarious to me, because it causes kyphosis, which will give them spine problems for the rest of their life if left untreated. All because they only care about the 'show muscles'.
I know this sounds backwards, but on me its definetly chest and arms
My arms were definitely a weak point for me until I started high volume training them 3x a week. Theyve exploded since. About 1" each in 3 weeks.
Same here. Got some fifties sixties and seventies dumbbells and I'll do hammer curls overhead extensions concentration curls and kickbacks while I watch TV at night
That is impressive! What does the routine look like? Also were you on cycle at the time?
Calves and forearms I feel are the most neglected.
Lower back as well
Penis.. For some reason I feel my penis is being neglected here lately. I need to spend more emphasis on it.
Is it really a new trend? It seems to me chest and bis were still the favorite 10 years ago and 20 years ago. For sure more people are doing lat pulls than barbell rows, but hey, who likes hauling those plates around?
I guess the most neglected body part is calves, but this is easier to excuse.
Ace VenturaTibia. I always skip tibia
