Mcgregor vs Mendes

It's official. Aldo is out.. Mendes is in for the featherweight interim title. I am extremely disappointed to not get to see Aldo and Mcgregor fight after all the hype but against Mendes we will still get to see if Mcgregors hype is real. He beat 2 scrubs (Siver and Porier) and I wasn't impressed. I like the guy but I want to see if the hype is real. There is also the factor that Mendes has a week and a half to get ready so I'm wondering how that might affect him. Thoughts?

TronSo the votes are in and it looks like everyone is pretty much voting for Mcgregor on this one. I wouldn't sleep on Mendes for a second though and I feel this is Mcgregors true test. If he wins the hype is real.
I am sure mendes has been training since the news of possibility first broke. Dana and Lorenzo handle shit like a boss. Mendes will be ready but it will be a moot point as mcgregor is gonna fuck that dude up.......badly.

Don't be so sure he'll beat mendes but you are right he's fight a mendes that didn't train. Alpha male camp always stays in shape. Those guys are rite athletes so if mcgregor does win, the hype will grow deservingly but I think mendes has a great chance at beating him.

Lol nothing. I think he's an amazing fighter and very talented. This will be a test against a guy like mendes a pure wrestler. I just like all of these people coming out of the woodwork and being bias because he's Irish and so is half the American population lol.

McGregor for real he's rolled through perhaps the deepest division in all the ufc. He's beaten brimage,holloway,Brandao and the guys u posted. He's what 26 or 27. His last 13 fights he has 11 tko, 1 submission and one unanimous decision. He's legit
Btw Dustin Poirier isn't a scrub he's 10-3 in the ufc. One of those losses was to cub Swanson by decision .Can McGregor lose of course he can but for been mid 20s and having the next ten years in the fight game he will be around for a long time unless injuries happen
TronYeah, that was directed more towards Siver but compared to someone like Alda Poirier wouldn't stand a chance. I don't know man. Let's see what happens. I think Mcgregor has a style we no one has seen in the division and a good chance to take home the gold but only until the end of the fight will we know if the hype is real.
Well Poirier didn't stand a chance against McGregor either lol. It's a fight anything can happen at any given time. I think Mendez will lose but anytime there fight anyone can win. He could clip him or submit him for sure. I'm just bummed out bc aldo vs McGregor had me so pumped up
TronI'm bummed as well. Hey, it's still going to be pretty good though and I'm watching it anyways. I think the Lawler and Mcdonald fight is going to be good to. McGregor is a funny mofo and you can tell the guy believes in his own hype and that is a scary thing. They always say in the fight game most of it is mental. I watched an interview last night with McGregor and Dana. The guy asked Conner about Mendes. Conner proceeded to very calmly and matter of factly tell the reporter that he was going to "rip his head off "and Dana started cracking up lol! Then Conner (again very calmly and matter of factly) proceeded to tell him that he was going to destroy everyone in the division so it will only be a one man division lmao!
