How do i lose the belly fat??? Any suggestions???
ad
I have been working out for a year or so & nothing seems to help eliminate the belly fat! I was told a good diet with a set intake on carbs, fats, etc. would be the best way to start. I have followed a strict diet & didn't really see an improvement. I'm not a junk food eater nor do I drink sodas. I don't eat a lot of carbs either. I have even added a fat burner to my regimen. I have gains & improvement in all other areas but the stomach, So I'm completely frustrated & disappointed at this point. Desperately need some advice!

Baldur2630Use an app like MyFitnessPal or buy Fitness Assistent. Cardio burns as much muscle as it does fat. Do HEAVY resistance training, I mean HEAVY, not waggling 2 kg weights around balanced on a rubber ball. Don't unde estimate the calories you stuff in and don't OVER estimate the work you put in at the gym.
Just because you spend 3 hous in the gym, half of which is chatting to your friends, it doesn't mean that you have burned 3 hours of calories. Four sets of 10 Bench Press takes 8 minutes and that's being generous!
If you can complete 10 reps of your last set IT IS TOO LIGHT!
My wife lost 47 kgs over 12 months, she still has some belly fat, but she realizes that it could take another 2 years before its all gone. You can't target fat loss, you lose fat all over and even if you do 10,000 sit-ups, you won't just lose belly fat, you'll lose it overall.

In addition to tonys suggestion below, querry Harris Benedict Equation...calculate BMR...then decrease daily caloric maintenance by 500-700 calories. Are you an ectomorph woman? Whats ur BF%
Not an ectomorph & bf is 11%
It seems you haven't been doing everything you can to obtain your goal. Proper diet , weight training and cardio. Learn how to carb cycle days with more physical demand more carbs, days with low physical demand lower carbs, consume the majority of you carbs before noon largest most important meal is breakfast. Maximize your water intake 2 gallons a day. Cut everything else out no sugars , no junk, maybe the occasional healthy juice and glass of milk. Training wise design a good training split and keep your rest periods low 70 seconds and under, focus on high volume , high intensity. Cardio HIT training on a treadmill on full incline and a stair master 20 to 25 minutes a day, you could always do fasted cardio in the morning.
TronVery good info.
shit!
I thumbed you down lol.. sorry, fixed it.
Its all good. Hopefully she takes the advice and does some research on it so she can obtain her goals.....
She needs to speed up her metabolism carb cycling. Too many people think eat less lose more....that's not the right thinking at all. Many expect results in a year or so. It takes multiple years and 100% dedication. No excuses do your cardio, your training ,eat your meals, drink your water etc etc once you start slacking your progress shows......
Patience, my personal favorite information.

Also count your calories, you can use the fitness pal app, this helped me ALOT!
Limit dairy, lactose bloats
Also theres lots of information on this site regarding dieting!!! Best of luck homie
Watch the carbs, try not to eat any after 5pm, that will make your body search elsewhere in the a.m. for fuel, which is when you should hit cardio on an empty stomach bro! This works for me! Throw Lcarnitine in with your thermo helps get that fat burning while you're working out
