Attempt PCT again or go on proper cycle and strong PCT?

ad

Hey guys, I've always been a lurker, but now I need help.

Background:
Age: 26
Height: 5'8
Weight: 230
BodyFat: 13%
Cycle History: Five cycles from 21 to 26.

Last year I had ran a 14 week cycle, around a gram a week of total compounds.
I followed PCT protocol properly and found out the provider of the chems were low underdosed.

I normally would have gotten bloods a few weeks after finishing PCT, however my father and brother passed away around that time and a lot of shit and my focus just went out the window with everything and it just got put out of my mind. I felt good, 'they' came back in size, etc., so between that and being in a bad place, I never followed up on bloods. This was about 7-8 months ago.

Now I got pre-cycle bloods done this week and the results are about 8 months after last pin.

Testosterone, Serum : 264 LOW (348-1197 ng/dL)
Luteinizing Hormone (LH): 3.6 Normal, lower end of range. (1.7 - 8.6 mIU/mL)
Follicle-Stim. Horm.(FSH): 2.0 Normal, lower end of range. (1.5 - 12.4 mIU/mL)

What would the proper approach be to this? I'm reading a lot of literature and these two schools of thought are most prevalent:

1.) Get back on cycle as normal, using HCG on cycle and do a very thorough PCT.
2.) Attempt a PCT again with a HCG blast and retest.

Suggestions, advice?

Opinions vary, but I cannot see the point of running hcg while on gear. You are sending mixed signals. Regardless, pct is something I would only trust to real RX drugs.

Good post i hope this get read and digested by everybody here.

(Stickie material maybe?)

Yea, this is real talk.

Drop-set's picture

Yes, but once again you have a kid 3 years out of high school starting cycles and burning themselves out by 26.

VIKING EVOLUTION's picture

Thats what we mean by good post............ it needs reading by the kids to prove this shit will seriously fuck them up for life..... i think you misunderstood what we were aiming at here.

Drop-set's picture

I hear you. I think I was 29 before I ran gear, and it was a simple schering test cycle.

VIKING EVOLUTION's picture

I tip my hat to being 29 bro........ i must be honest and admit i was 22 when i started but i had serious competition in mind and made it a full time lifestyle, not just a quick blast with a couple of cycles to fill out a T-shirt to impress the chicks lol... no i did it to fulfill ambitions and dreams.
33yrs later with 60+ competitions under my belt i am here to share my experiences good and bad!.... i dont sugar coat or put frills on anything bro, i tell it like it is... the good/bad and the fkn ugly...... you probably noticed i do give certain youngsters a hard time on here because the biggest percentage of them are the T-shirt fillers i mention above and i know they have zero plan to make a lifestyle from AAS or Bodybuilding... i will not judge them all the same because i know we have some future champions amongst us, these ones i try to steer in the right direction without taking stupid chances with their health and wellbeing.

I appreciate your posts. These kids need to hear reality. I had gyno surgery in my 30's. People think that running 800-1000mgs of test is some sort of joke, it isnt.

I had a 22 year old buddy in college run gear for a year straight. He even threw in some a-bombs. He was 5'7", 235 with abs. His goal was to turn pro. He wrecked his motorcycle and got messed up. Couldnt lift and I heard he crashed hard...dropped to 170lbs. He became depressed and quit lifting all together.

They were originally human grade from India, but after reading a lot of negative recent feedback at the time, I jumped to a research chem company boasting high mass spec's and reviews at the time.

First and foremost what time did you get your bloods drawn at?

Second, how do you feel? Sex drive, energy, gym performance, erection quality, cognitive function etc?

Scrum71's picture

Sex drive is always there, cognitive function feels perfect and normal.
Erection quality varies to a degree, but not to the point of a semi vs a maglite. At times I'll notice I'm not up to potential lol, but I feel like that's more-so the circumstances around it. Hopping right to it, messing around, etc.

Everything is solid except morning energy, which I always pegged on sleep quality. I sleep like shit from being really congested at night.

I actually think I might have fucked the test up now that you pointed out the time. I don't know why I was thinking non-fasting and non-GH testing could be done any time of day.

Slept 4.5 Hours.
Awake: 8:00AM
Bloods: 2:45PM

So now that I'm reading, between the lack of sleep and later blood draws, my levels could be SUBSTANTIALLY lower.

I wouldn't attempt another cycle until you can get that natty test level up. You may be shut down permanently otherwise.

Pale's picture

I agree with Makwa. You are 26 bro, another cycle for you may be for keeps. Leave the juice alone and get yourself well and stabilized.

Yea advice would be go see an endo. An actual medical doctor. You're 26 and have already run 1gram cycles :/... Not good. This is why we tell all you young guys not to use gear and wait until you're at least 25,26 before even considering AAS.
This is something no one on this site can help you with now. What you need to do is go see a doctor and see what they can do for you. You have to remember this is your body you're playing with so when you're pretty much shut down at 25 then no one one any board can give you "proper advice" go see a doctor man you're too young for this to happen.. It's quite frankly a shame.

Scrum71's picture

Yeah was about 500mg Test Enan and 450mg Equipoise weekly.

That's where I'm torn. From everything I've always read lurking on various sites, forums and journal abstracts, I got the impression that I'm now "permanently shut down". One of my good friends is is experienced with AAS is also about to finish his residency as a ortho surgeon. I know he's not an endocrinologist, but I had some faith in him being a doctor. He was one of the proponents of cycling again with a proper PCT and that I wasn't 'permanently shut down'. I also managed to get my wife pregnant three months ago, which was another reason of his stance of not being 'clinically shutdown' and that a cycle with PCT would work.

Just to be clear, I'm not looking for the option that let's me cycle. I could give a fuck less about my appearance and strength when my health is on the line. My questioning of returning to cycle isn't a product of wanting to get back on at all costs and being impatient. It's solely from reading and his suggestion of getting back on cycle, that has me questioning it.

Scrum71's picture

That's what I had originally intended. Reading shit along the lines of, "Get back on cycle and get your levels brought up and peaked high again and this time around PCT extensively." I thought it was far out, but then read a lot more posts over the years along the same mindset, so I was confused.
