proviron after PCT for high SHBG

ad

Hey guys I'm posting this here because I feel ill get more responses.

am thinking about taking some proviron to lower SHBG

2nd pct since coming off a year of TRT after not recording from a tren cycle

23 years old

Got my blood restults CBC and CMP normal

TSH 1.18 (.4-4.5)
T3 Free 3.8 (2.3-4.2)
Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies 2 (<9)
IGF 1 180(83-460) Z score (male) -.3(-2-2)
DHT 39 (16-79)
T3 Reverse 18 (8-25)
Iron Total 85 (50-195)
Iron Binding Capacity 286 (250-425)
% saturation 30 (15-60%)
Ferritin 64 (20-345)

Cortisol taken at 8:30 AM 13.5 (4-22)
DHEA Sulfate 181 (85-690)
FSH 6.0 (1.6-8.0)
LH 2.6 (1.5-9.3)
Prolactin 7.4 (2-18)

SHBG 57 H (10-50)

Total T 440 (250-100)
Free T 45.4 (35-155)
Estradiol Ultrasensitive 16 (<29)
Vitamin D, 25-OH 40 (30-100)

So I guess I'll start supplementing Vitamin D3 and DHEA micro. I wish my darn SHBG would come down i don't understand why it's elevated, it has never come down since any PCT I have done after it's elevated from SERMS.
Anywho thoughts on bloods>?

3rd pct since coming off trt
Was torem for 4 weeks 120/90/90/60

Wondering why my shbg wont go down, been 9 weeks since last SERM dose

hey Whiteknight, I commend you on your reckoning and open mind. I personally don't think another aas is the answer, if that was so, then using winstrol could accomplish the same thing in lowering your shbg. see what I'm getting at. I'd stick out the natural route and backed with a little more time. the human body can do some miraculous things when you put good things in, good things out. your first hand experience here can do good things for other, younger guys in our community so please share it for others, you could possibly reach another person and keep them from going down the same road. dhea and boron could help greatly. best wishes!

Thanks bud! Well my numbers are higher now then before I went on TRT for a year , so I agree with more time I will continue to recover !

PROVIRON is still an oral AAS. It will have an impact on your recovering HPTA
during PCT and I think its a bad idea.

whiteknight007's picture

O wow, thanks bud I'll try all of the above as I'm not taking any of those and re test in 8 weeks

Let me know how it turns out.

Proviron should help drop it a touch, but it won't be dramatic. There are a couple of drugs that can be prescribed but they are rather contentious and I would only feel comfortable with you using them under the control of an endo.

whiteknight007's picture

So what do you reccomend other then getting an Endo? Do you think my SHBG will come down now that I'm off SERMs

Catalyst's picture

Should do slowly. Could run low dose proviron for a month, won't do you any harm.

Reminds me of the guy that choose to swim with Great White Sharks...... Pointless crying when they bite.

EVERY ACTION CREATES A REACTION............ Sorry for sounding harsh but im sick of kids running tren and thinking they are Bulletproof.

whiteknight007's picture

Someone recommended I'd take aromasin for a month at 12.5mg daily. It might drop my E but it should lower my SHBG alongside these supplements you guys recommend a ton. I don't see why my SHBG would come back up after I stopped it as well as there is no reason for its elevation given my healthy thyroid liver and estrogen levels other then SERM use... Thoughts???

whiteknight007's picture

I didn't think I was bulletproof or I wouldn't have ran AAS at all haha. I always had lower T levels <500 , even before AAS, this is really why I did them at all. But my SHBG was never this high so my free T was double what it is now.

I was 21 and dumb, didn't know anything , still am dumb. Just trying to fix myself the best I can so I can live my life peacefully. trust me if I would have known what AAS would do to me or that our endocrine systems are still developing till 25 I would have ran

anything I can do know other then give my body more time and live healthy and see if my numbers improve in 8-12 weeks?

+3 for your comments right here............ i hope and pray the rest of the young bucks roaming our board reads this........ i would be grateful if you would create more posts like this, nothing better than true life experience .... you never know if you can save just one youngster from making the same mistake it may be worth it! im sure you agree.

trt at 24? why did you stop trt?

whiteknight007's picture

Well I did two tren cycles back to back and didn't recover so I hopped on TRT, but I don't think I need it just yet and can recover given time. Plus in my combat sport it was allowed when I got on, but since they banned it last year I've cone off and am trying to recover as best I can

I might have done permanent damage to my hpta because I am so young but I still believe because of my age I have a good shot at recovery. I'm feeling better but still only 60-70% of what I did pre AAS. I figure I was on gear for a year ( did 3 cycles at 21) then a year on TRT so 2 years of anabloics so it will take at least that long to recover if I even can. Its already been one year and I'm going to give it another year before even thinking about going back on trt. My sport means more too me then being superman.

boron, d3, nettle root, and DHEA and healthy living it seems by recommendations to lower SHBG and re test in 8 weeks to see where I'm at.

juiceball8082's picture

Doc prescribed trt or you did it yourself?

whiteknight007's picture

Doc prescribes TRT but chalked it up to ASIH as thyroid, adrenals are healthy , no sleep apnea or any other bs.

juiceball8082's picture

If you we're doc prescribed trt is for life brother.

PIN_CUSHION's picture

Don't know man, Noid is trying to come off. Would be a long hard road, but he's committed.

juiceball8082's picture

I've thought about it but i don't want to feel what i felt before trt.

When off cycle, use natural methods to correct imbalances first. That post below with natural anti estrogen supps is good shit. Im using the boron supplement.

Stinging nettle root, natural potent shbg inhibitor.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/7700987

Boron and hormones
http://examine.com/supplements/Boron/
"failed to increase total testosterone levels yet trended to increase free testosterone (+14.7%) and DHT (+9.9%) although neither was statistically significant, yet significantly reduced Sex-Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG) by 9% at the 6 hour mark yet required 2 hours to reach significance.

So boron doesnt raise TOTAL Test but raises FREE test, so that would explain it inhibits shbg.

whiteknight007's picture

Well i dont know what else to do to get down my SHBG, its eating all of my free test.

PIN_CUSHION's picture

Was your PCT Dr prescribed? I don't know that Proviron is very effective on it's own. Works great in unison with test. Give my post a read. I've been looking for natural ways to achieve the same thing

I'm almost a month in on the supplements. Peobably just placebo effect right now. Should know Bette after a month. Feeling pretty good though.
