+ 2 HGH Testing Protocol(Eroids style) / MK-677 help.

ad

Ok ,guys. It looks like we are seeing a slight increase in hgh lab testing.I hope and encourage to see a lot more.I thought it a good ideal to do a refresher of the suggested protocol and perhaps gets some opinions.I am not sure I even know the protocol or have a 100% understanding for why.For IGF testing its probably best to wait at least 4 weeks?Igf takes time to build up. For serum tests it doesn't matter how long you have been using the HGH.Its just a matter of timing after the injection.Does it matter what time of day you test?Should you fast before taking you hGH injection?

PROTOCOL (from my understanding)

Inject 10 iu IM into delt 3 1/2 hours before labs are drawn.(fasting from food during this time)

In regards to using 10 iu.I thought this was to get a high serum result(assuming good hgh).I believe part of the reason being is that other agents can increase serum but only "real' hgh could elevate it to very significant numbers.Although I am not sure that is the case.I am simply repeating a theory.

I know there have been some suggestions about taking 5 iu providing 50% of the serum you would get from 10iu .From my understanding that is just not an accurate assessment

I personally find all HGH testing to be of value.Whether you do 2 iu or 10 iu.All labs will show us something. Its just for doing accurate comparisons that a consistent measure be taken. Then again, everyones body is different and will produce different results so there will always be inconsistencies.

Any thoughts ,insights, opinions or suggestions? Perhaps someone would like to take the time to teach and explain?

I will be doing labs for MK-677 this week.At this point I have decided to just do IGF1 values.I am open to doing serum tests as well.I just don't know the best protocol and if there is a way to get significant serum results.I have seen very little in regards to MK-677 labs.I am excited to see how this stuff contributes to iGF1 levels.Afterwards,I will be adding HGH to test the synergism of the 2.

1 more thing. We have a list of labs to choose from on another threads,is you don't have your own source. These labs charge about $50-$60 for IGF1 and about the same for serum. If you have both done it will usually cost under $100. If you need any assistance please feel free to contact myself or post questions.

Thanks!

"In regards to using 10 iu.I thought this was to get a high serum result(assuming good hgh).I believe part of the reason being is that other agents can increase serum but only "real' hgh could elevate it to very significant numbers" sorry I don't know how to highlight lol. But this is actually kinda opposite. Real pharm grade gh usually produces a 10iu serum in the mid 20s whereas we see these kits selling for 150 a piece testing at 35+. I remember rips testing at like 40-50. Does that mean they're better? Naa, means they have some other shit in them. And then theress also the problem with "dead" hgh. Meaning something went wrong during the production process so it's has no bioavailability. What's weird about this is it will still produce normal high serum results, but it won't elevate igf-1.

And there has been some recent blood tests on peptides with guys igf-1 around 400. Which is higher then alof of geneics are testing. So basically as of now serum and igf--1 is not even close to a definite indication that you're running real gh. There's another test called igf-1 protein binding 3. From what I've read and heard the numbers should ojly be elevated if one is running real hgh. So this might be a good way of testing generics from now on

Sure we should test IGFBP-1 and IGFBP-3. From what I understand the BP-1 complex renders the IGF-1 inactive and the IGFBP-3 is a rough indicator of the IGF-1 bioavailability. I scored 662 and 671 (2 weeks ago but have not posted yet) on the IGF-1 part for 5iu hyges but my results were kinda shitty tbh, which leads me to the conclusion that either my body is weird or that the IGF-1 didn´t do shit because it was not bioavailable.

From now on we surely should test IGFBP-3 if any labs can do that cheaply. I wouldn´t be surprised if the ratio of IGFBP-3/IGFBP-1 for pharma and generics is way different.

I've got a lab test in the lab section.
IGF-1 and IGF BP3 were increased with one SubQ injection and tested the same day.

Didn't use the "standard protocol"

IGF-1 was 249ng/mL up from 125
IGF BP3 was 4803ng/mL up from 3165

The IGF-1/IGF BP3 test I did is loosely based on a medical study to show bioequivalence between Genotropin and Omnitrope (True Generic/Follow-on)

GH Serum:
The GH Serum chart that everyone goes by is based on a controlled study using 30+ individuals. Females scored lower than Males. The numbers you see are based on a range/average. GH Serum testing was not used to show bioequivalence in the Genotropin/Omnitrope study.

I really wish there was a one-time blood test to show a legit GH product that's not FDA approved. But I don't think it's that easy.

great points. if testing were that easy to get an answer, all sports would be doing it. it is far more complicated then a serum or igf test

Especially with GH Serum testing. About 2 years we came to the conclusion that they were pointless. Here's an example. I did 3 separate GH Serum test. Same product. Pinned 5mgs(15ius) sub q. Results were:
7.2 ng/mL
13.3 ng/mL
30.8 ng/mL
Iron makes some good points. IGF BP3 might be something to look at also.

Trying to determine the quality/purity of an HGH product with a simple one-time IGF-1 test just isn't possible or accurate.
Just remember that a Doc will use an IGF-1 for prescribing HGH. But he's prescribing an FDA approved product. Not trying to prove its GTG.
High % of Impurities or Other Proteins is what needs to be looked at. But unfortunately that can't be determined with blood work.

Thanks for posting this. I'm also considering doning bloods on my Genos in a couple weeks.
