intra workout

ad

What do you guys use for intra workout drinks? I don't know much on these but am interested in trying something new....

I've used RSP Nutrition Regen for quite a while and I like it.
I just tried a few new ones from Dymatize (Recoup and Amino Pro). All have BCAA's and a few other things as well. I'm sure it's just in my head, but I don't feel I get the same workout without having my intra-workouts.

I'm no nutritionist by any means, but i stick to bcaa's for intra. I agree with Makwa the Xtend is my preferred but I also like Elite Recoup by Dymatize. I don't typically do carbs during workout, just post. Trying to keep carbs low lately.

I will look into that I like the idea of getting the BCAAS at the same time, I'd imagine that would help reduce cost somewhat?

Thanks man I appreciate those suggestions...I like the sound of the INtra MD with the lrush, I'm going to look into that. Like I said, this is all new to me, I always just ate a big carb meal an hour before my heavy training days, and never really did too many preworkouts, so this is more or less uncharted territory for myself. I sent you an FR I want to ask you something when you get a chance man

BCAA's. Scivation Xtend is my intra of choice.

What about Pre or post you take anything else? I've never been a big supplement fan but I want to change it up. I have heard Xtend is good, that keep you going longer?

When I am not running any albuterol or ephedrine I take JYM pre-WO mix and then I also use the JYM post-WO mix.

I don't think the Xtend necessarily keeps me going longer but it is does ward off catabolism of the muscle tissue when my workouts go for an extended period of time. I also think it is essential to down some BCAA's before doing any fasted cardio to help spare muscle tissue.

Is the Jym stim free? I have used many Pre in then past but anything 200mg of caffeine just messes my stomach up. Basically I am looking to up my intensity and endurance during my workouts as I am going to change up my lifting style from heavy, low reps to moderase weights and much higher reps with shorter breaks between sets, and incorporating supersets as well. I work alot so this particular method of training will be tough without the proper aid. I take BCAAS before and after as well, but that's really my only supplement at the moment

The pre-wo is not stim free. I think it has like 350mg caffeine. That is why I don't take it when using albut or ephedrine. I would be way to wired up. The post-wo is stim free. I drink that on my way home from the gym and then eat my post-wo meal.

Ok cool thanks man I appreciate the advice, maybe a half serving of Jym could work at 175, it's worth a shot I need that extra punch
