The bible is b.s just a collection of ancient fables passed down the generations to explain things before science could. It's human nature to try to explain our existence even though it's random and life exists randomly all over the universe. Another part of human nature or animalistic instinct is to control other humans. I bet there were "rich" or should I say more powerful cavemen who sat in a cave and let the peons risk there lives killing a saber tooth for dinner. It's just the way most animals are. Similar behavior is observed in chimps. There is a leader and occasly chimps organize and go on hunts to kill other groups of chimps. I guess it's a primitive survival instinct. Be dominant or die
I'll have to disagree with the bible being bs, althought it is meant to be confusing and only to be understood by very few, it has been used several millennium to control the masses and for profiteering just like any other religion.
The church picked what to include in the bible and what to throw away. My point is it's not the thoughts of God in any way. It's just shit ancient people wrote and the church chose to include if it fit their agenda. I guess this might be a different conversation. But I grew up catholic and the more I learn about catholics and the catholic church the more I don't want to have anything the to with that religion or any religion.
Maybe the Catholic Church took the offer that Jesus declined, " I'll give you all the kingdoms of the earth if you bow down and worship me" .

im standing on a line to pay a coffee. This guy behind me, tells me why I paid cash. I'm slowing the line down.
I told him because I don't need to borrow debt to get a coffee. He laughed and said I have 30,000 on my card. I asked him if it's a debt card. After he grins and said its my creditcard As good As cash. I said "your broke then" he said I have good credit. After I pissed him off. I told him read a book in debt and slavery.

I tend to agree, religious laws and mans beliefs have controlled people for centuries along with a monetary system in place for commerce and trade the two go hand in hand. The Babylonians were the first to use a currency made from clay or cuneiform coins.

That is very interesting, and actually leads to what I would like to discuss, a soliton event or and event that happened that changed our world. McKenna makes some great points, but also while on his trip he may be influenced by a good or evil force. Christianity or Jesus may possibly have been this event, but if you follow the bible Christianity or the Hebrew law was here before Jesus manifest himself for thousands of years in the book of genesis which is the beginning of the revelation of the one to come Jesus Christ. I would prefer to think that the soliton event or split between universes or dimensions was when the angel of light fell ( satan ). If you have a Strongs concordance that interprets Hebrew and Greek definitions the word satan means a serpent or better interpreted a sorcerer.
