+ 3 When should I start looking for smaller bras?

ad

Well one of the side effects to loosing weight is smaller boobs, which I'm all in for- all they do is get in the way when lifting. So back to the main point, Bras are not cheap and well lets say now most of em are all on the tightest setting and still about a half cup too big. Whats a girl to do? maybe their is a bra trade in spot I don't know about LOL

WTF whoever negged this is a DOUCHE!

Just go without, that's how I roll lol

Ha, go without, I do that at home but not out, well, then again, I guess it just depends where I'm at or what I'm doing....;)

SILICONE thats how i roll hahaha @3.5% bodyfat> thank god for implants lol

Wildfyre14's picture

I'm with you-implants all the way!

MsNoWeakAces's picture

do the implants get in the way when you are lifting?

suzy b MRS viking's picture

Not at all i have gotten very used to them now, this is my second set, the first left one got kicked whilst doing a combat class and burst lol so i had these fitted and also went a size bigger, they are now while i am in off season measuring a full 38DD and impossible to spot because they are covered by upper pectoral muscle.. i just wish i could get false Achilles tendons because they are just about wrecked now >;

thinking about starting a BOOB jar at the gym-LOL

UgtaBkdNme's picture

LOL, yeah I'm down from a DD to a C. I need bigger implants Smile

MsNoWeakAces's picture

lol! Ill take the old ones!! gross I think

Have you checked prices? Depending on where you live it might not be as expensive as you think. My current set (lol it's like new tires) was $2600 out in AZ in 2001. I live on the east coast now and it's gonna run me 6k to replace them. I was shocked.

I have not looked into it yet. The hubbs trains some people in high places, I'm about to hit him up for the inside info!LOL I have a friend who said hers does a deal when two people come in so Ill start asking around. It would be cool to have some new boobs to go with my new body!!

I normally stay out of the ladies lounge, (not true, I lurk) but since you all are on the subject, how is the pain/ recovery time? The I'm sure MsNWA hasn't thought that far ahead yet, so I'm asking for her. I train the boob doc and his kids, so it is possible this thing could happen.

Wildfyre14's picture

The pain is going to depend on if you go under or over the muscle. I've had both, had saline and silicone and have had various sizes. I have a pretty high pain tolerance and every time I've had surgery I was back in the gym the next day walking on a treadmill and working out again within a week (carefully and strategically to not harm anything).

MsNoWeakAces's picture

Out of the two what was the best for you?

Wildfyre14's picture

I just posted this to respond to Kodiak below....

I prefer the silicone over the saline-it's softer and more natural looking and you don't have to worry about it breaking/leaking/deflating. Under the muscle looks much more natural than over the muscle but I had mine moved over the muscle when I started bodybuilding. When you flex your chest it pushes the implants down and to the outside when they are under the muscle-it looks really weird to me.

I hope that helps Smile Sorry I didn't see this sooner.

what was your preference?

thanks a million for the info ;-)

For me it was about 4 days. The pain is off the charts, I went under the muscle (that's the only way to go IMO). I had it done on a friday, and was back at work on Monday. I had a serious job too, no desk job lol

UgtaBkdNme's picture

I can't speak for Suzy but mine do. There are ways around it, I can't do most close grips but wide is fine.

MsNoWeakAces's picture

Never lost most of my chest before, now I have flat boobs. Weird! I'm thinking I need to hit chest a lot more! Maybe Ill start a boob savings jar, or start a fund raiser-LOL

Got some for a good price at Target, Plato's Closet was good for work out wear. Down from DD38 to C36.
