What were/are your strength gains from test only cycle?

Hey all,

Just wanted to hear some stories from you guys about strength gains you made during your test only cycles?

I searched up other threads but all I could find were people stating how much weight they gained and/or strength they gained but from other compounds (dbol, tren).

Note - this is my first cycle ever. Pinning test prop at 125mg eod.

EDIT - Just like to say that I learned a lot from the stickies on how to build a proper cycle, so thanks to everyone that contributes around here.

If your goal is strength then train to it and there should be no reason you can't grab 15%.

I'm on my first test only cycle and my biggest gain was incline db press..I usually do sets with 80s and only did one set of 90s before, now I'm throwing up sets with 100 pounders..fuckin love it, may not be a big feat for some but that was a big obstacle for me. And all my other exercises went up 10-20 lbs and had enough strength to throw in a few more sets on each exercise.

They were very very dramatic to say the least. I was eating like a pig sleeping like a baby and lifting like a beast. If you give it 110% a "basic" test cycle will blow your fucking mind. I was more concernd with size and I added 1.5 inches to my arms like 5 to my shoulder probably 3 to my chest, 2-3 to my quads and I think my calves grew like .5-.75, there so fucking stubborn.

Sounds amazing to me, insane size gains to your shoulders... I don't mind getting bigger just more concerned with the strength aspect of it.

You should expect a 10-15% increase in strength with proper diet.

Depends a lot on your training if you are focused on strength a good 5x5 program (Madcow, Bill Starr, 5/3/1, or Smolov) you'll notice a lot of strength gains.

Stats would be helpful in determining how realistic your goals are, and if you are ready to use AAS.

Thanks for the reply, I have done Smolov for squats before and Smolov jr for bench.

I had to dial them back a bit though as the weeks went on because I felt my body fatiguing way too much, I always thought if I went on the gear I would go back to Smolov.

Also we don't usually recommend prop as a first time user. A longer ester would be better because of less pinning virgin muscles etc. what's your stats , upcoming cycle and pct ?

Also, I always wondered why people recommend E or C to prop.

Prop you have a shorter cycle, easier PCT, easier to manage sides, see results faster.
Only downside that I see is that you shoot twice as much, but if you don't mind pinning it seems like prop is the way to go?

Long story short - Had test E, pinned twice, wifey found it, threw it out... we had a pretty big brawl. Anyways, it's all for the better now as we talked about it and she is ok with it as long as it's done right.

Stats - Been training pretty consistently for a few years, inconsistently before that for sports.

5'11
13% BF

Cycle:
125mg eod test Prop
250iu hCG twice a week
Arimidex on hand

PCT all planned out - got Clomid and nolvadex

Every individual will vary, there are many determining factors , nutrition , work out intensity/ routine, genetics. However you can expect a significant increase with 110% dedication.
