Brother, I didn't bother reading the comments below. I had two kids the following way.

Tell your endo. She will hit you with a regimen of clomid at 25mg pd and HCG 1000iu 3 times a week. Your boys will hurt for a week.

Jack off and clear all the semen you'll produce the first 15days.

Then have your wife go on Babycenter.com tell her to open an account and put her info. It will tell you exactly when she is fertile. Have sex those days she fertile. It might take 2-3 months. Not saying it will work for you But it worked for me and my endo made this regiment for me. My endo is a female. Good luck.

Appreciate it bro I may look into trying this good info..

Good luck, keep us updated when you get lucky with a healthy baby.

Thanks! Were u on trt at this time?

on trt for the last 9 years. I got two kiddies one 7 the other just turned 2. I was completely shut down. I have been on trt (test cyp) for a long time before my wife wanted kids.

The only thing I hate about that protocol is the itchy nipples also heads up they will be soar.

whitechocolate's picture

Thats awesome.. U use an ai during for itchy nips?

Lilbear's picture

No ai,

only hcg and clomid only ONLY! Lol. The endo wanted to have my system pumping the highest amount of LH and most importantly FSH.

To be honest I never asked her why she told me not to take my adex. ( I have a script for adex as well) even after I told her about my nipples . She advised me if I wanted healthy kids follow her protocol. She told me soar nipples and pain for a few weeks is a small price to pay.

I was lucky it cost me very little. Copay for the endo was 40$, clomid was 20$ for a month supply and hcg was 110$.

Crazy usually hcg very pricey for rx!

Lilbear's picture

Hcg was not that bad. It was 110$ for 2 (10,000iu) I think it was reasonable. It did give me a seance of wellbeing. Something like euphoria after a few weeks.

No one can answer. I've seen guys get their wive's pregnant in the middle of a big ass cycle while others couldn't while on low dose or for months after. Personally, I got lucky a few times and did the deed within a few weeks of finishing a cycle.

I see you are in your "30s" so I'm not sure how long you want to try before you consult a doc but if you are in somewhat of a rush, my advice would be to get tested to see what you got going on. If you have issues, then adjust that TRT according to doc recommendations. Yeah, you may lose some muscle and may not feel as great but nothing can replace having kids.

Just my $.02

Appreciate it bro u have a damn good point

Sex usually works best for this.

Everyone is different when it comes to being on cycle or TRT. For some, It can hider your production to the point where you're not fertile. Other's don't have that issue. You're spouses fertility is also a big part. I think you're doing what you can with your hcg and provi. Some also include dhea and pregnenolone into their regimen to increase their fertility, etc.

My understanding is that your testicals and natural testosterone production are almost certainly shut down but that does not mean you have zero sperm.

Basically it is highly unlikely that she would get pregnant but its not a guarantee. You would have to do a sperm test to be 100% certain

I am on trt and have asked the same question and this is what my blood work confirm and what my doctors have told me

The hcg is the wild card, depending how well its working and at what point your at in its application you will increase the chances some

I suggest paying more attention to what is going on with her, rather than what is going on with you.

Women are most fertile immediately before ovulation. The time to be intimate with your wife is from day 10 (ten days after the first day of menstruation) until day 14.

You don't quite get the issue here.

whitechocolate's picture

Agreed lol..but its all good

You could add in some HMG since it mimics LH and FSH, HCG just mimics LH, higher LH and FSH together should cause higher spermatogenesis(sperm production.) I don't remember seeing whether HCG or HMG did anything when it comes to motility. Selenium and few other natural supplements supposedly can help with motility, but I don't have any personal experience with them.

A couple of my Mates have gotten their Mrs'/Girlfriends pregnant without any issues, even with them being on TRT.

I MAY be wrong, but my understanding from talking to them, Testosterone Replacement Therapy does lower your sperm count and can have an affect on the strength of the little wrigglers swimming true also. But TRT is all to do with your Testosterone chemical levels and is used for normalizing it again. A 36 year old Mate of mine mentioned he was put onto Clomid by his doctor because he was trying for a kid with his Mrs, but what dosages he was taking, we didn't chat about them, so I don't know.

I'm sure someone with further personal knowledge on TRT is going to be able to step in and advise you further, Mate.
