+ 4 How We Deal with Newbs

ad

Alright i rarely ever venture outside the SIs or pictures anymore, however, I feel the need to speak on something. So for the past few weeks i have been seeing comments and "beliefs" from many "senior" members, and i put senior in quotes because some are level 3s and higher but have been here half the time i have, that are really causing deterioration of the credibility of our members and in return our site.

Yes i am young. i made some stupid decisions when i was in high school and i regret them. i wish no one to follow the same path as me. However, when i see someone tell a new member my age that they will be Banned for giving cycle advice or posting a possible cycle it just disgusts me. If you scare everyone my age enough so they do not post then when will there ever be an opportunity to deter their action? when a young member posts a cycle layout more often than not there are senior members who have been here a long time taking them under their wing and stopping them. Whether it be with diet or training advice. This kind of thing needs to continue. The response of crucifying members for being young and attacking them needs to return the response of guiding them in the right direction with diet and training.

The other thing that has been bothering me is attacking people for their choices. Again comes to age and compound usage. Recently i saw a member harassed for running tren on an early cycle and earlier age. However when you go look at peoples history with pictures and posts they were running tren just as early and about the same age. I am not condoning starting using steroids and especially tren at an early age. But do not just attack because it is the norm of the site, especially if you have previously done the same. By all means if you've done the same and regret it please voice your opinion. That is the best way to connect and change someones mind.

I am not singling out any particular person or group. Just as a whole i believe we need to return to the way we were months ago. We need to help the newer members and not attack and or shut them out.

While I agree with you, one can have extensive knowledge, but no disipline.

It's frustrating dealing with some of the stupidity / ignorance / laziness / cockiness / lying that comes up. I've been here a long time now, and I've seen it many times.

I do believe we need to take a less aggressive approach to new members, sometimes it's over the top and we make it a little hostile. If you look at how other forums refer to eroids, you'll get a different angle to things and not a positive one. I'm not saying they're right, far from it, but is that how we wish to be perceived.

I'm +2'ing this as I think it's something on the radar at the moment. Good man Ted.

Thanks brother. Just the last few days has gotten worse it seems and something needed to be said

Nitti wrote a comment yesterday or the day before mentioning how we're perceived, Noid is conscious of it too so it's in the mod team's line of sight.

I wrote a post a few months back about a similar topic. It's a delicate balance between being safety first and coming across as unhelpful / hostile. We all get it wrong at times.

I hate how people talk about eroids, buts not because of our forums. For some reason everyone is under the impression that all the reviews are fake , rankings are paid for and all the sources are a scam. I've literally seen people say that before on other forums, that all the sources are a scam.

It took me a long time to find eroids, so I spend a lot of time lurking other forums and eroids by far watches out for people healtj and safety more then any other forum by far. Nobody's gonna consign on reckless ideas here.

Exactly right. And not only tren but these big stacks of tons of drugs. If they just focused on there diet the results would be incredible.

irongame427's picture

I understand where you're comjng from. I usually spend a lot of time explaining to them why this is a bad idea instead of just saying don't do this. I remeber how it was being younger and I needed an explanation. And right now I hAve a few guys I've talked out of using on programs with a diet and training program I made custom for them and there making huge gains nAtirally. I will always try to be respectful at first bjt you knkw how young guys are. So if they start acting like know it all dicks then I'll be a dick right back. But recently there's been a lot more young guys who have listenedd then not. So that's good.

But the problem lies, and this is very frustrating when older guys post up proposals that's clearly show they have done zero research. Like running esters for the wrong amount of time (eq for 8 weeks) 2nd or 3rd cycles with way to many drugs, terrible pct protocols. If you spend anytime at all just reading a little but this info is very very easy to find. And that's what pisses me off. Most of the begginer and intermediate cycle questions have been asked and answered hunderds if not thousands of times. I mean I could find layouts for cycles on the web that could take my physique up to a very very advanced level before I ever needed to ask a questions. These are not some gnc test booster. They need to be respected and understood and it's frustrating to see people not treating them that way. And I think that's why people get mad sometimes. When your one of the people who are constantly in the forums helping, and there's probably only about 10 of us, you get sick of this shit after a while. Come do it for a while bro , after 2 weeks you'll wanna kill somebody too. High levels of androgens+stupidly= us getting mad. But overall I think we do a good job or treating people the right way, the people who will actually listen.

The bottom half happened to me I posted all the time and this casual approach with no research or effort into learning the basics pisses me off. I posted all the time and everyday the same exact dumbass questions. All they had to do was take what five minutes here and answer most of these basic questions but all they want is someone to give them answers.well this attitude is wrong and will fuck someone up. U can't run aas and have no knowledge of what your doin. They are in for world's of hurt. If I post your not ready research a few things for a couple days and come back here and post .what u advise we can help but most times the response is if your aren't goin to help leave my forum or I'm goin to run this bullshit attitude. If someone spends anytime on forums trying to help. u will understand what I'm saying and how frustrating it is

irongame427's picture

Ya im not into spoon feeding at all. I firmly believe if you start doing research its like a chain reaction. You starting reading about a test cycle and you come across something about and Ai so you click on that and you read about that then you see something about pct and you click on that etc etc. If i tell someone run this for 12 weeks then wait 2 weeks and run this pct for 4 weeks then alot of people will stop right there and just run with my idea. They won't bother looking into side effects, how to inject, how to be sterile, signs of infections, time on and time off, bloods. So i try to get them to do something on there own. Like i said before all this info is out there. I really thing I could find enough info on the internet to never need to ask a question even the really advanced shit, (slin, gh, igf-1) its all out there. So these questions about basic shit piss me off. Im just gonna start linking noobs with dumb questions to the 1000 forum post or articles I found on the topic with my 2 second google search.

Brother you are definitely one of the ones doing it the right way. We are all human and and get frustrated it's understandable. And being there aren't many of you it is definitely a pain. I would love to get in there and help. But no 30-40 year old is going to listen to a 22 year old kid

irongame427's picture

Just keep gathering knowledge and when you get a little older help. I would be more worried about a 21 year old proposing a cycle and you telling him not to and him thinking wtf, this kids a year older then me if he's gonna run it why cant I.
