Weight gainers, which is the best one?

ad

I been trying to gain weight recently and I'm reaching my limit with the amount of food I can stomach before I feel like throwing up.

I know food is No.1 to gaining weight but when u r just so full are weight gainers a good option and do they work?

I am doing close to 5000cal a day so far and gaining roughly 1.5lbs a week.

I been looking at cheaper gainers and they seem to contain roughly %50 wpc and 50% carb with over half of that being dextrose.

I new to buying weight gainer so some input on which are good or if I sholud just order another pizza would be great.

I personally have had Serious Mass by Opti. Definitely put on weight but I was eating an absurd amount too. Fact of the matter is mass gainers do work for obvious reasons, that being it significantly helps you obtain a caloric surplus. Stay on top of nutrition though and make sure to eat! My one boy stacked Russian Bear with Virtago and although he did get a little fat he had to off put on 30-40 lbs NATURALLY, it was absurd. I was only able to stack on 20-25 lbs with the serious mass.

I feel you on trying to eat a lot of the right foods to gain size. Diet is the toughest part for me. Taking a quality mass gainer has definitely helped me to add some quality calories. I have tried a few and currently like Bulk Muscle by BPI.Sports. Good company.and some of the popular online stores were doing 20percent off. It has 625 calories mixes easy w water or blend w milk at home for thick shake. Only 4g fat, 85 carbs incl sweet potato and 53g prot containing casein and whey + bcaas, cla, and glutamine. Its helped me gain some quality weight on cycle. I like it as a post workout drink at gym w water. Chocalate peanut butter pretty tastey!

Pro Complex Gainer by ON...it has 60 gram protein 85carbs 650 calories....all that and only 8g fat 3.5 is saturated and mixes in a shaker cup w water no clumps....I actually don't like gainers anymore but if u wanted to take one a lean one like that would be pretty good. But its one of the more expensive gainers out there.

bro mass gainers are mostly rip offs, they use cheap carbs, just get some protein and blend in some bananas...

Weights gainers just IMO are pointless, make a shake with 2 cups of milk, 2 scoops of protien, 4-8 tablespoons of peanut butter and oatmeal and your gonna have as many calories and many more of them will come from real food, another good reason for making a gainer at home is cost. I can make a massive shake for much less than weight gainers cost per serving.

Making your own is best. Use a high quality whey and some milk,,add fruit,,nuts,,whatever you like.
If I were to purchase a store brand gainer I would go with CytoGainer,,its not loaded in sugar like many are
to get their calorie #'s

MusclePharm Arnold Series Iron Mass is the best weight gainer hands down. I have a hard time putting down 5000 calories or more a day sometimes. Especially when working 8 to 12 hours a day and hitting the gym for 2 hours after. I try to eat as much as I can and I use a weight gainer to top it off. I used tons of weight gainers and Arnold Series Iron Mass has given me the best results. Its considered the best weight gainer of 2014.

I like to mix 2 scoops of whey protein = 260 calories. 3/4 cup of ground wheat flour= like 200 calories 2 cups of milk a few hundred more calories. A tablespoon of peanut butter 200 calories and a banana like 180 calories. Mix in a blender bro and its cheaper and more quality calories then most sugary gainers.

This is phenomenal advice. Weight gainers are expensive garbage. Don't bother with them, blend a bunch of stuff into a shake and make your own. Much much better for you.

They work to an extent I've used several different brands but honestly I would just pick and choose foods that are higher calorie nutrient dense foods.. You will have far better results with that than a weight gainer In a bag. Viking has a recipe for a shake he makes look that up in the nutrition section I have personally used it and have had great results .. Good luck
