What are you listening to in the gym?

ad

For me its any hard rock, either put on iHeart Radio (slipknot, stone sour or five finger station) or Pandora...Also, just ordered tickets to the Mayhem festival in my area in July -- Avenged Sevenfold, Korn, Trivium and 17 others...

What am I listening to in the gym?

...MILFS bitching about their husbands, kids, and what Becky did and why the homeowners association isn't doing something about it. All with the backdrop of a Katy Perry soundtrack.

If that isn't motivation to work hard and get the F out I don't know what is.

I was just about to post this as a thread!

For me it's something like this:

Rage against the fucking machine
System of a down
Prymus
Sublime
Living sacrifice (check them out)

Yes, but not closely enough yet. One of my iTunes radio stations is Behemoth radio, they play Dimmu on it a lot. What do you think of Amon Amarth? Viking metal!

jansen's picture

Getting my mayhem tix on payday. I saw a7x when stone sour and hollywood undead opened. It was insane, I can't wait to see them outside, we've got an amazing outdoor venue here.

awagz's picture

Oh that sounds like a damn good show...stone sour was great live I saw them with in this moment and a band from Boston called landsdown or something like that, they were pretty solid too. After they came off stage they were signing albums in the lobby of the venue we were at, and I realize their lead singer is like 5'2" lol...I'm 6'3" so that was pretty funny when we got the pics from the show up on the computer

I got so screwed at in this moment a couple months ago. Their steam guns set off the alarms at the venue they played, and we were all evacuated for an hour. We came back in the played whore and blood, and were done. 4 fucking songs total smh.

Pale's picture

Saw A7x and Ghost last fall, I was really there to see Ghost but A7X put on an awesome show too. Seen Mayhem two years ago when Slayer and Slipknot headlined, that was an awesome lineup!

awagz's picture

Never heard ghost? Checking them out as we speak

They (Ghost) rock like hell live. The whole satanic thing is pretty hilarious as well.

ReadyToKillIt's picture

I had tix to that mayhem, ended having to sell them. That was a rough moment, I saw slipknot on their first tour, it would have been nice to see how their shows have evolved. Plus slayer would have been great.

Pale's picture

It may well have been the last time to hear Lombardo with slayer.. I saw Slipknot a long time ago and compared to then their shows have become a pretty amazing production, especially as the headline act. I would give that one the best performance I saw that year.

ReadyToKillIt's picture

Yeah i heard it was incredible, stupid life getting in the way of bad ass shows lol. I didn't totally miss out that year though. I saw social d. Which no matter how old they get, mike ness is still one bad muhfukr.

Pale's picture

You got that right.
