I've not been active much on here but when I came back guys karma was like 75plus even after only beinga member for a year.
I'm not asking how to get karma, I've never cared as long as its not low. But what happened to?

If I've learned anything in the past 3 years of being here is you don't judge a avatar by its karma. It gets no respect from me with "no disrepect". Level 2,3's with only a few cycles of real experience, not all but a few. I judge a member by his track record, how long have they been here, are there post's of sound mind, etc but even that can be decieving at times. I have mad respect for some of the low karma no drama old eroid era, kind of get nostalgia about it sometimes. Oh, yeah and theonslaught haven't seen you around in ages!!!

karma whoring is at a a premium and everyone knows it... the site is too big to keep an eye on everyone at once and some get away with it (for awhile) but we do do sweeps and publicly drag ppl over the coals for it... to be shamed in front of your peers is a harder road to hoe than just getting banned and coming back for a fresh start

In the couple of years that I've been here, it seems like the karma has cycled a bit from easy to earn to tough to earn to a little easier. I could be wrong on this but this is my theory. I think when it started out there weren't any hard line rules about giving karma, as people started abusing the system hard lines were established and people quit abusing it. Not everyone but most stick to the rules, of course we have had karma whores pop up here and there and they usually get dealt with. I think once the system changed for karma given in off topic that made it a little more difficult (especially off topic guys like myself) however as people have progressed here in Eroids people have achieved higher rankings and with that when they give a thumbs up more points are given.
Personally I think the integrity of Eroids is consistently improving and adjusting. I think I've seen an increase of parroting advice but maybe that's proof that people are learning. Fortunately for us we have a few guys like Viking with hundreds of years of experience who can jump in when needed and straighten shit out if needs be.
At any rate, it's good to see you back brother, you've always been a good contributor so I'll give you a +2 for another unique contribution.

I think everyone has something to contribute. We are all unique, we are all at different stages, we have all made unique mistakes, and we have all had unique successes. I think that's where everyone has a chance to contribute. Even though it may not mean shit to most, there may be a few that are at the same stage as you are looking for answers that it really strikes a nerve with and your input gives them the help that they are looking for.
Take for example these guys that share kick ass recipes. I fricken love those posts. Given the fact that food is such a critical element in the process, to me that will always be an excellent contribution to the site.
I think a lot of people want the karma for promos and chances at free gear...I know there's people on this site that use their karma as a way to recieve goods even if it's not from promos. I don't see anything wrong with the system really tho..I've been around here for quite some time and if I really put my mind to it and could donate the time like some of our other great members do I'm sure I would have a few hundred karma points by now. I think that's where it comes into play..being on here a lot and really contributing. Sure there are some karma whores that post pics every day and are fan boys to SIs where they get their buddies to boost them up, but as we've seen the mods do a good job at nipping that in the ass...and the real contributors always stick around without any negs or bans.(aside from bs drama) we've got a good community full of great info at our finger tips. Were very lucky.
I can only speak for myself, but having been here for only a short time it looks to me like not only helping by sharing the knowledge you gain, but also being teachable and willing to learn without ego gets you points. A lot of guys come here and ask for advice. When they get that advice and then promptly tell a knowledgeable guy they will do it the way they planned before the advice it tends to piss people off. Guys wanting a cosigner get flamed. Guys who appreciate and apply the advice theyve asked for get a point hete and there. Im on here every day studying and helping the guys who know less than me wherever I can. Ive posted a few pics, but gotten very little karma for that.
Hahaha I've been here more than two years and only have this much karma... The more ucan contribute to the site the more u will get! Too bad I can't give enough time here due to my schedule:( but oh well as long as u keep learning that is all that matter at the end!

valhallas bestlol i used to be negative 60 karma now im at 100! aside from karma u have enough to get on the promos n stuff but i think ppl worry about karma so much n dont appreciate the site like they should, best fuckin website on the planet.. they could probably be charging us money with all the info n helpful members on here.. ppl take this site for granted

I haven't been a member here no where near a year.my karma iv got from helping in the forums and people liking the advice I give. Its easy for guys to get karma like that in a year like selfies and gear pics
I remember karma coming from posting gear pics and honest reviews. But I got ya. I've relied on eroids based on what it provides. So helping others mos def deserves it. Then again, I've seen guys post a review for several labs within weeks. Its like "hey bro, how can you say four labs test e is legit in 6 weeks, you must be taking all three yet how do u know whose shit is working and why are you on several labs anyway"

Roll has been very active in the forums especially in the cycle logs and dishing out good advice. I'm surprised his karma isn't higher as a matter of fact. If you are active in the forums and putting up useful posts your karma will rise accordingly. Posting lab work is a sure way to gain karma since it is very useful to the community here.
