+ 3 Spring 2014 EBC Updates
Hope everyone has been using the EBC downtime wisely. I gotta admit it's been a nice little break for me:) So I have a few announcements to make.
First and foremost I have asked Pankration69
to join me in Organizing the EBC. I tried doing the last EBC alone and fuck its a lot of work and the job is a lonely one. After talking at great length with Pank and a few others I decided Pank was exactly what I needed. He brings a team before I approach and he is goal and result driven. He has a heart of gold and his vision of the EBC falls in line with my own perfectly. Plus he's been a trusted brother to me for quite some time. Feel free to direct any questions regarding EBC related issues or questions to either Pank or myself. Please join me in giving Pank a warm welcome to Team EBC!!
Next I have a few changes to the rules. After deliberation with BFG aka El Mas Chingon aka BigHomieDon'tPlaydat I got a green light on a few things I wanted changed. Here are the changes:
1)no more USA today mandatory stuff. Any paper with a date will be good enough.
2) age limit 21yrs minimum ( Childlike antics will no longer be tolerated)
3) if you are banned even for a temporary length at any time during the entry portion and up to the prize announcement you will be disqualified. There's too much money on the line to let douchebags be eligible.
4) If at any time a person steps out of line in questioning the EBCs integrity there will be no second chances. No favors and no love. You're gone. Period.
Personally the age thing I feel should be higher but I'm not going to take any adults right to free will. But I assure you if you act immaturely regardless of age there will be consequences and even expulsion from current EBC and possible banning from all future EBCs.
The next Spring EBC Cutter 2014 is almost ready. Big has a full load and as soon as he has free time we will lay out start dates and get a homepage for the EBC up.
For all if the women who plan on competing this EBC. I will make this challenge to you. If we get at least ten women who join the EBC and finish the comp We will be happy to organize an all Woman EBC. Also for all the women who finish this current comp, if a woman does not finish in the Top 5 overall I will make an announcement for top female winner and ask a Src to award the Top female a prize of their own. If any women finish in the top 5 you will receive Top 5 Prizes only. I'm looking for women who want to be pioneers. This is your time to show me how bad you want an all woman EBC comp. Challenge issued!!!
SuzyB if you see this I'm expecting you to enter:) We would be honored to have you grace the EBC stage.

AnonThis will be 12 wks. It's the common length of cycle though mixing in longs and shorts to have the most drastic effect will be key. Or folks can go shorts for all 12 wks. Hahaha that's what's going to hurt some folks. Not everyone can run shorts for 12wks. It will be interesting to see how people manage their cycle layouts. I'd start Planning now bro:)

i tend to over plan which i suppose isnt always a bad thing.
my plan is all shorts for 12 weeks on this one. ive done it a few other times. its the best results for me on a cutter. it gets rough pinning that much though.
AnonLove the ideas particularly encouraging female competitors. If the timeline of this EBC is manageable with my schedule.... might just have to enter my first EBC ever.
Can you give an estimation as to when it'll actually start at this point or no? 2-3 weeks I'm hoping?
AnonI wish I could. But until the Chief has time to get a page going for guys to submit their entry pix I can't give a definite answer. As of now it is looking like the end of March or first week of April.

I won't be entering the next ebc, but I've been a big fan of the contest since I joined the site. I love watching people push themselves to their limits. For many individuals it's a life changing experience.

Ah shit son, I like those rules Los!! Nice and revised, which leaves no room for B.S. Also, the female ebc and prize offer is great. I know it took time to conjure this up, but it sounds like a master plan and great start to your next ebc. I wish everyone great success, I will be watching from the side lines.

I greatly appreciate Carlos for his dedication and for considering me to help him. I have learned a lot already from him about what goes into this and it truly is a humbling undertaking. Making sure that all are treated with the dignity and consideration that their hard work and efforts deserve. I appreciate all the warm welcome from you all and I will give my full effort to the integrity of the EBC.
A far as the new rules go I think it is important to put out there that rule 4 was something I suggested and pushed for and that Carlos gave the green light for.There is constructive criticism that improves and aids in build projects and then there is just plain accusations that do nothing but cause strife. That will be avoided at all cost with no favoritism shown whatsoever. The integrity of this long standing competition will continue to grow because of all of the dedicated members that we have here who desire nothing but its success.
I will state the this even though it is the obvious that during this time I will not and cannot support any competitors or sources in any way as to keep the integrity of the EBC in tact. But as Carlos said, for any questions about the EBC that you need to have answered, please feel free to contact me anytime and I will get back to you asap.
