+ 1 Instructional vid on how to get rid of a distended belly. (root chakra)
ad
This is a Yo Elliot video on youtube about strengthening the core by doing stomach vacuuming. I always thought old-school BBs looked way better than the new age BBs with extended bellies. This exercise is supposed to a way to improve that unaesthetic look if done on a regular basis. Having a healthy and strong core is important, since almost all exercises rely on the support from that area for proper form. You will also be less injury prone with a strong core. With the stomach vacuum you can have a strong core with an aesthetic appearance.

(the audio kind of sucks on this vid)

Been doing these for 3 days now and coincidentally or not I have had to sit in the toilet 10 times, could all of this squeezing be helping out with that as well ?
Anyone experiencing the same ?
RustycanDude I watched the vid. I vacuumed my stomach in and tried to pull my asshole up into my stomach like he said..... I think I shat myself!!! Lol!! I think I'll stick to crunches
According to the vids I posted crunches strengthen the outer muscle groups but they wont do anything to tighten that area. The vacuums tighten the inner fascia, which is the band that surrounds the mid-section under those muscles.
RustycanI was just making a funny dawg a been walking around doin the shit(vacuums) since I watched the vid. Ill try anything that looks like it might work!
It does feel weird in that region, like muscles you didn't know you had control of.
I was under the impression that these ugly stocky abs and wide waists were from all the hgh and igf-1 (and other peptides) enlarging their intestines and making them look like shit.
I haven't seen any documented scientific proof that HGH and IGF makes your intestines grow faster that the rest of your body, I heard that could be a myth, but I know they probably have to grow somewhat, with the amounts the pros take. So, who knows? I know some of the bloat is from taking HGH and mostly from slin, that is why they are both stopped before a competition, but some guys still look pregnant with abs. This exercise is supposed to tighten up that area. Plus they accidentally train their stomachs to distend with all of the food they gorge themselves with, that is needed to support those 300lbs+ physiques.
RustyhookerGreat info! Makes sence if you compare another muscle group. Intercostals and exocostals. When i was young and hard cut i hit those from both directions and it gave a freaky look. So looking at core muscles....I'm glad this got posted.

Cheers for the share pal, I´m getting that distended look myself, going to give this a go and hopefully it will stick as a new habit.
I always read that the reason classic BBs in Arnold's generation had thin waists because they did stomach vacuums. I always wanted to know what they were, but I never took the time to research it until now. I even showed my girl how to do them, since she was asking about thin waists.
Did 3 sets today like on the video and yeahh they hurt quite a bit. Good !
This is a quote from someone on that page:
"Kundalini goes from the root chakra that is situated between genetals and anus and up through the core of the body, hence the martial art/yoga reference you mention at the start. Very good exercise. Thanks!"
This is another one of his vids about looking pregnant with abs and improving nutrition:
