Forearm pain.

ad

Hey guys,

As the title suggests.. I have forearm pain. The pain hits in both of my forearms whenever I release the grip from a bar when curling or even when I am spotting someone bench pressing and release. I don't have any pain in my forearms while curling but as soon as I release grip it hurts. It helps if I release it slowly, I've had this for probably 3-4 years now and seems to be getting worse. Even now as I sit here typing this with my forarms rested on the edge of the table, I can feel a very slight pain in them. Tendinitis? Something to do with bone ( I am deficient in Vitamin D, I've been taking a supp for 1 wk, I'll get bloods done in about 3-4 weeks). Anyone had this problem? or something similar to. (please leave comments, I will reply to them when I can log back on.. makes it a little difficult to talk to you guys continuously when you are in a different time zone to nearly all the members) Thanks.

Have felt the same shit and learned on my own releasing it slow makes it not hurt as bad or at all. Could be a deficiency In our bones. I have noticed since I started working forearms everyday it's stopped somewhat

Yeah I am deficient in Vitamin D, not insufficient amounts but actual deficiency. Supplementing for a couple of weeks now and thought I'd get blood work done to check lvls in a month, after some research I learned that you should allow 3-4 months after starting supplementation to get bloods done for Vitamin D.

The exact same thing happens to me, not sure exactly what it is and I still have the problem.

I find doing straight bar cable curls doesn't give me any problems at all. Good luck!

Yes I've had it when I did chest once every 3 days. Repetitive movement seems to cause it and it csrys over to other lifts. Figure out what is causing it. Dips and maybe db fly's for some reason are culprits for me. I use vitamin c + collagen 1+3+hydraulic acid on similar injurys these days but in the past I took time off. Good luck
