Use of Drawing Pins
Hello ppl...
Wanted to say anyone just starting out, use a drawing pin. I talk to a lot of bros in the gym who don't use a drawing pin...heck, some are even using their syringes more than once.
I get super paranoid over the possibility of infections. Plus, using a drawing pin allows for a sharper tool for administration.
I usually buy a larger needle to draw (20g 1 inch) 100 count box. Cost as of right now is $10 dollars. That's 10 cents a needle (no syringe).
After I draw, I change out the tip to my regular 25g. and then inject.
When I first started, my guy suggested doing things this way, and I always thought it was good protocol.
In my opinion, always use a drawing pin, and never reuse a syringe.

Many people do this and as long as you stick to sterile practices, you're fine. The only problem with using a lager gauge is that after pushing that size over and over again through the stopper, you can push pieces of the stopper into your oil and then pull it up, then inject it, which is a problem. Just be cognizant of that.
Also, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, EVER reuse a syringe.
I know what you are saying...I can tell the stopper gets a little beat up. But no issue with rubber floats since most times I am using ethanate and puncture fewer times. For example, pulling 2 cc of test 250 empties a bottle after 5 pokes. However, I do see what you are saying, so point taken.
I think sterile practices are the best. Even creating a sterile field (wiping everything down with alcohol that you will be placing your stuff on).
Thanks
I am a TRT patient and my bottles last a long time and even with only pinning twice a week, my stoppers get beat up pretty good. I usually use a 23g to pull and pin with. I used to use 18-20 to pull, but it started to break the stopper down, so I stopped. Sterility is key and I'm glad you agree. I saw that you mentioned that you knew guys who re-used their pull pins. That is just plain stupid. Risking an abscess to save a couple of pennies.
Good advice, reusing is asking for bad things to happen. Even with peptiides, the rubber stopper will dull/hook the 29g pins a bit.
I know guys who re-use drawing pins too. They rinse with rubbing alcohol and think it is okay. Just too risky for me:)
For the price... not worth flesh eating disease on my ass... just saying.
