AnonYou really need to pound through the site and do a lot of reading, you are making a lot of Ill advised assumptions and carrying them over to your dr who probably has little experience with hormone therapy. You just need to start from the beginning and research PCT, ester length, cycle length, AI's etc
Mr.pumpI ran the cycle for about five months .
GearofWarTroll? You ran "some" test? For how long? How much is way too much? Need more info to make an accurate assessment of this situation. :/
Mr.pumpNot sure what a troll is.. But the test wAs suppose to be 400mg per ml . I had a test run but my doc to see if in fact It was reall an my test was 1500 . He said normal for my age it should be 500 or six . An that was fine with me . Problem being is it was my first ever cycle an I ran it for 5 months an like a straight novice I just stopped . An about two or three months later I went back an was feeling like shit an those test results came back at 10 or 12 . He then proscribed me andro gel . An this was like three years ago or so..
If I am understanding what you are writing correctly your doctor screwed you over big time. Your problem started from a lack of PCT. So instead of having a proper PCT the doctor put you on TRT. So essentially you have been suppressed for three years. At your age you are borderline for a restart. I would highly recommend you find a doctor that specializes in HPTA restarts. Otherwise consider yourself married to TRT with no divorce in sight.
PS: If anything your testosterone was under dose because utilizing 400 mg/mL, even if you were doing only one cc a week your testosterone should have been over 1500. There's people that can hit 1500 utilizing 200 mg a week.
1500 is the max most blood tests will read up to. It;s possible his test levels were much higher.
and you are incorrect, not everyone gets 1500 off 200mg per week. if that were the case doctors would only prescribe 50mg per week
"There's people that can hit 1500 utilizing 200 mg a week." Does not say everyone. That was to demonstrate one extreme to the other. I don't know if you've read anything that I wrote on these Forums but I do Speak of how individualistic TRT is and needs to be tailored to the individual.
Mr.pumpThanks for the info man yea .
You're welcome.
GearofWarHow did his doctor screw him over big time? It would seem to me as if he beat the bag out of his HPTA through irresponsible use of Testosterone and lack of PCT and knowledge. He then went to the doctor and told him he was feeling like crap, the doc orders BW and finds his Test levels in the proverbial shitter. Doc says, "Hey bud, ill links like we found a problem to start with here. Your Test levels are really low. Let's try and get you feeling better. I'm prescribing you Androgel." Could the doc have gone a little deeper for the root cause of his low T? Sure. But I'm sure the OP didn't run into the doctors office and tell him, "Hey btw doc, just wanted to tell you I've been abusing illicit steroids for the last 5 months straight. Maybe that could have a bearing on my test results?". If you truly care about your health you'd probably fess up to abusing steroids so that the doctor could've made an informed decision on his course of treatment. Does it suck that you'd have to tell him the truth? Sure. Would it have made a very big difference in the diagnosis and treatment of his condition? Absolutely. The doc would have known to refer him to an Endocrinologist so that his HPTA could be examined and diagnosed as damage control and options for possible restart or aggressive PCT. So I'm not sure I'd call the doc 100% at fault on this situation.
"I had a test run but my doc to see if in fact It was reall an my test was 1500"
So at this point the doctor knows something is up and out of normal. Not to mention the fact that the picture from the OP makes him look like he takes performance-enhancing drugs. So that's two things that the doctor should have noticed.
Then OP returns later with low testosterone. So any doctor that's not a moron would know that he crashed his HPTA and the worst thing you can do is give him more suppression In the form of AndroGel. The proper thing would have been to question the OP about his suspicions about using performance-enhancing drugs followed by bloodwork and an MRI followed by a restart attempt.
Mr.pumpNo , I didn't say anything about using gear . An he never asked.
good reply +1 for knowledge
Thank you.
