Brain Freezed

I wanted share this with you Guys/Gals....Today I was training and happen to have someone stop me and ask since it is cold outside and winter time do I still need to drink as much water as I told him before during the Summer? And if so how since he is less thirsty during the colder days?

First off just because it is cold outside and in some cases freezing does not mean you drink less water. You may find yourself less thirsty due to the cold but you still have to fight to chug the fluids. So my suggestion to him was make some homemade tea regular or even green tea boil about 8-10 bags depending on strength or flavor for a gallon. Keep it as warm or room temperature through out the day and just keep drinking. Maybe use a thermos at the gym instead of a water bottle or just heat up some water/tea in a god size cup while at work and that might help. But water intake cannot be slacked during the colder months just because it's tuff to drink it during the colder months you still need the fluids...This is not some mind blowing information but if he did not know and realize it's still important maybe this may help a few others as a reminder. "Always be thirsty my Friends" Smile

Yup, chapped lips and dark urine are some signs that you need to hydrate more.

That's not true and you know it. I'm sure it was hot once in 1996 if I remember correctly ;)
