Too many variables, and only 10 BBs, in this study to find out the cause. They all used gear, but they could have all been from the same area using the same bad gear or had the same bad habits.

This is simple actually. They (the medical community) flipped out because my kidney levels were off. (creatinine specifically). It turned out in my case that my kidneys were already filtering at a high rate without any AAS. However I was eating a shitload of protein. The rule of thumb is 1.2 grams per POUND of weight you are realistically aiming for or 2 gram per KILOGRAM. Not 2 grams per pound! So if I am 200 lbs looking to reach 230 by the end of the cycle I would consume 276 grams of protein a day. The body building community generally looks at it like 300-500 and up. The AAS does synthesis protein at a faster rate then without so it makes sense that the belief that one could eat as much protein as possible. Running to much protein through the kidneys for too long is like running sand paper over them. It causes micro fissures and tears allowing blood to leak into the urine. So just because we are on AAS doesn't mean we should throw common sense out the window.
yea I think the high amounts of protien would be just as bad if not worse
I personally think high amounts of protein put stress on your kidneys. But here is a kicker. When I spoke with a group of urologists and nephrologists and asked the effects of consuming large amounts of protein (say 350 g) I was shocked at the consensus which was " if your kidneys are healthy to start with it shouldnt make a difference on the health of the kidney.
you should note how much gear the pros take up to 5gs a week
Alcohol is way more toxic and i've seing fucker living a long as life
+1
56tooIt'd be interesting to know how they define "long term abuse"
as well as which compounds and dosages.
oral steroids ^^^
aylmejorI don't think this is why its crucial..
if your balls don't work you can just trt if your kidneys don't work you die that's crucial
Good read. Thanks
