Your opinion.... minumum age to start using anabolic steroids or any preformance drugs? What age were you when you started if you have? and is the " reaching natural genetic limit" saying true? Thanks .

I did it at 18 but it was short and basic. If you are an athlete then obviously you must start early since you hit your prime so fast for most sports.

I knew I was going to become an alcoholic so I started drinking at an early age too.

Lol. Does that relate to what I said? You turn pro in most sports at age 18-22.

it doesnt mean to start juicin that early was the point of my joke. 18-22 is prime natty test and a bad idea to start in my opinion.

Excellent point! I loved opiates, so I had my parents dose my apple juice while I was still young.

You mean apple juice? Just chill: it was a joke. I got a laugh from it!

it depends on what your goals are.. if you are competing in sports as soon as you get out of high school, if you are just triyng to get in shape i would ssay 30-35...i started at 20,, after 4 years under the iron.. i did some light cycles with long brakes,, i dont regret it

I believe 30 for the average user. Most will say at least 25. Levels typically begin to decline after 30. As mentioned by Konig below, bloods should be done prior to determining levels prior to cycling. A long term commitment to exercise and especially nutrition should be in place beforehand. I think before anyone touches a pin, they should eat and train like they are on cycle. Develop the habits. If they can't continue that diet, any of the gains are going to be lost. It needs to be a lifestyle, or its a waste and a danger to the endocrine system for no reason at all. If more people knew how to eat, we wouldn't see so many 170 pound, 6'5" first cycles. Push to the plateau, eat beyond it and push some more beforehand, before ever touching a needle. This applies only if size and strength are the goals. I know weight restricted users are in a different realm, but the emphasis doesn't really change. Understand the important aspects. I wish I had a portion of the money I pissed away on bullshit supplements that a few dead chickens and a school of salmon would have more than replaced.

Everybody is different... I feel that when you hit your plateau naturally with all the natural supplements i.e. whey/casein proteins, fish oils, glutamine, amino acids etc and you feel for months you can't get over that hump even though you are maxing out your workouts and sessions daily. Then I would take the plunge and get some blood work done and go from there.

33 for me. I couldn't get over 190 no matter how hard i trained or what I ate. I felt it was time to try something new, I'm happy I did.

I started at 39 from doctor's orders.

Not till you need them. I was strong all the way to 50. Not competing just training to stay strong and fit. Then at 50 I noticed a big decline and went and talked to dr. Got bloods done and got the "your test levels are normal for someone your age". I don't look 50, act 50,and I'm a high steel rigger for a living, physical job to say the least. So I found this site and took care of TRT myself. Have not turned back, found the fountain of youth! I have done 3 cycles now and could be in the best shape of my life since my teens. Now at 55 I'm still killin it at work, still one of the strongest guys at my gym, pounding like a teenager in the bedroom, but more importantly feel great. No reason to grow old gracefully anymore. With safe proper supplementation we can turn back the clock! Great post Riley+1
