Your diet sucks!! food preparation made easy

ad

okay bros, i've seen many people here full of excuses saying "i can't eat like that" or "i dont have time to cook".. So here is my .02 cents on how to prepare food the easy way and some crap you need to buy to make your life easier. i've been much better at preparing food then most because, i've been living on my own since i was 22 years and didn't have mommy to cook for me.

okay shit you need to buy to make your life easier.. The rice cooker -- its the best thing to make rice perfect every time ..all you need is water and rice ..the rest is done by the machine.. you throw 5 cups of water and rice in it, wait 20-30 mins and you have rice for days.. another thing you need is measuring cups you cant eye 2 cups of rice, just spend 2 bucks and get it. Also you will need a scale to measure meats, how else can you know how much protein you are having per meal?!.. Another thing you need is containers lots fo it..

'
okay.. so now you got the basic crap,, ill tell you how i get my meals in. i buy 10 lbs bag of chicken breast throw it in the grill.. grill it all at once. at the same time i cook 5 cups of rice in the rice cooker.. when its all done i use 6 small containers pour chicken and rice into it and the rest i store in a big container.. so in the end , in one cook i got 6 chicken and rice meals and plenty left over for other days, i like cooking my steak and fish fresh at night but the main bulk of food is all cooked once saves me a lot of time.. i hope this helps bros

Weigh meat servings before or after cooked, for accurate nutrients?

unless you are eating your food raw, its always measured after its all cooked because that is the form that you are actually ingesting the food.

This is what I assumed.. Just checking.

I find it easier and more sanitary to weigh everything after it is cooked. But you should be able to find nutrion info either way. Just be consistant.

I eat mine up to a full 7 days later as long as everything looks/smells fine and it has been properly stored in the fridge. Havent gotten sick yet...
Edit: I should add that I nuke it again for a few minutes before eating, or throw it under the broiler for a bit to get all crispy. So that probably helps.
