+ 1 Protein muffins
*Don't give me any Karma points - I got this recipe off of the Mutant website. Just sharing it because they are f**cking delicious. Recipe only makes 6 muffins, which is a snack for me. Double the recipe and take 'em to work with you or use as a great-tasting, low calorie high protein snack.
WHEY PROTEIN MUFFINS (Only makes 6 - use muffin cups, double recipe for 12 muffins)
3/4 cup oatmeal
4 scoops WHEY Chocolate
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 cup fat-free milk
6 packets Splenda
3/4 cup apple sauce (no added sugar)
1 tbsp. cottage cheese
2 egg whites
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl til mixture is wet. Spray muffin pan with coconut oil cooking spray. Using a ladle, fill half a muffin cup with mixture. Add a tsp of peanut butter or add a strawberry or cherry to middle. Top off with mixture to top of muffin cup. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees and bake for 20 minutes. Enjoy!

valhallas bestmaking some of these bad body tonight
LaTTTimer99You try em out yet?
I put almond butter in now - shit is super good!
Yeeeaa buddy!
56tooThey sound good. will have to try these
How big is this cup? Have you got the measurements in grams? Would like to try these
LaTTTimer99I'm no Martha Stewart bro - you know those muffin cooking sheets? I'm looking at mine and if I had to guess I would think it's a full measuring cup. A good way to do it if you are super strict on calories and measurements would be to use 1 measuring cup full for each muffin...
I dont have a measuring cup, i think thats a yanky thing, i live in the UK, and would really like to know these measurements in grams, so if anybody had an idea of how many grams is in this cup would be great if you could share!
LaTTTimer99Rofl haha that cracked me up ;)
Right on. Shoot - sorry tho bud! Can't you check conversion / exchange rates to determine units of measurement between US and UK?
I did a conversion and it said i could only compare it to liquid measurements like litres/pint/gallon which is wierd because americans measure everything in this damn cup! Even flour and stuff! So i would have to measure flour, sugar etc in litres or pints 0.0
60 gms oats, 30 gms cocoa powder, 180 ml milk, 180 ml applesause. The US and UK tsp and tbsp are close enough
Thanks bro much appreciated ;)
Any time my friend
LaTTTimer99That is so fucking weird lol - that makes no sense to me. Shit bro - sorry man I don't know what to tell you?
This shouldn't be this difficult - I wonder if you went to the Mutant website, search recipes find this one or any other ones (they're a Canadian company) - maybe you can select your Country and it'll make the conversions for you?
Good luck
man just make protein pancakes fuck this sounds complicated LOL.
LaTTTimer99Haha I hear you man. I will tell you this though: once I got my diet dialed in and started eating 7-8 meals per day, I got bigger and stronger and leaner - cooking is a pain in the ass homie. And dude I probably spend a good 2 hours a day eating - fucking sucks sometimes man and IMO is the hardest part of bodybuilding, but ironically the most important part.
I'm sure you could alter this to simply dumping it all in a cake pan - the cool thing about muffins dude is you can take them with you anywhere you go to snack on. Pancakes, not so much :/
If you got a girl get her to cook this shit bro -

AnonThese sound killer homie! Did the website have a breakdown of nutritional content like # of calories per muffin? How many grams of protein? That type of thing?
LaTTTimer9920-25 grams protein per muffin, little else - no empty carbs, and if you don't use the PB you'll have no fat except what's in the coconut oil spray and the cottage cheese.
Carlos Danger - f**king classic dude. Weiner is such a dud - but what a hilarious name right? Someone needs to make a movie about that dude - straight scandalous.
Yeah bro he breaks it down on the video dude: 20-25 grams of protein per muffin, minimal carbs minimal fat. I use almond butter instead of peanut butter, and that'll add 10 grams or so of healthy fats per muffin, but you don't need to put anything inside except the main ingredients, which will leave you with majority protein and not much else. Using Splenda instead of sugar means no empty carbs except the minimal fructose from the applesauce.

You should follow "OfficialMutantTV" on YouTube - that Rich Piana dude is on severe swole bro. Some unreal shit - but dude is cool man - they come real for the most part. He talks about the cycles he runs, etc.
Later doggy - let's get yacked homeboy big things big things
Peace!
