low sugar
been on this ketogenic diet and its not working I am dropping weight but at the expense of jitters shakes sweating shortness of breath heart labored feeling! I can eat a banana or any kind of carb and within 15-30 min feel like a new man stamina energy you name it I seen a interview with George the pro maker farah and he claims don't stop carbs if anything increase I want to know what the pros on here think. I seen Viking post on no carbs after 2 every evening I can see that! I carb up some before leg day and I have a unreal workout I no carb few days and cant summon up energy to function like I want to and I think its low sugar but I had bloodwork done and sugar was 97 but that was after oatmeal and egg whites!

I'm not a pro bodybuilder but I am a pro on hypoglycemia...Monday morn I woke up and was so dizzy I couldn't walk...I had to eat right away and within an hour the dizziness ceased....I felt horrible most of the day....I didn't eat much food on sat, and sun for dinner, I barely ate any protein which keeps blood sugar stable....I messed up and paid the price immediately....
low blood sugar is no joke you can go into a hypoglycemic coma....I personally cannot do the no carbs or low carbs...I just eat good clean carbs with a fair amount of protein...if you do have hypoglycemia you should always eat protein and carbs together....also you cannot accurately measure blood sugar unless you fasted after midnight and had the blood test done on the fast.
I have suffered from heart murmur or flutter from time to time for the last 15 years of my life and I just researched that that is common among people with this with low potassium unreal man you may have just helped my beast mode to the next level! I can't thank you enough bro!
ClassyChassisYou're very welcome bro. There are a lot of people who suffer needlessly due to this very thing. I'm glad I could help.
Correct me if I'm wrong but a low sodium diet is like 2400mgs day isn't that alone 2.4 grams
ClassyChassisThat's correct. That's why I said you could use more Lo-salt below, especially if you're sweating a lot.
Thank you for the help makes since I own a automotive shop an work in this Alabama heat all day sweating from start to stop on vehicles so the extra wouldn't hurt I sweat 12 hours a day bro 101 heat index and even the air off the shop fans is hot lol but you drop ALOT of water weight that's for sure! I will do the ratio and thank you brother you the man!
ClassyChassisOk good. This is actually pretty important, so I'm glad. Don't be afraid to do more if you are sweating all day, that's also playing into this as you lose potassium through sweat. The recommended allowance is 3g-5g a day so if you get to worried about the sodium part you can order NOWfoods brand Potassium Chloride (sold as a salt substitute). That's what I use. I get mine at Swansons Vitamins online, 8oz for a few bucks if you can't find it elsewhere. Then I just mix a little sea salt with that. I like to keep my ratio a little higher, like 4 parts potassium to one part sodium. But the Lo-salt is good and probably more readily available in the short term.
I'm going to try it thank you a million that's a sick ass weird feeling man real jittery and kinda sweaty almost like a panic attack kills energy to man makes up weak!
3.7 liters n a gallon 3/4 teaspoon would work won't run blood pressure up will it just making sure!
ClassyChassisNo. The balance of potassium to sodium is what's important. Sodium keeps water inside the cells and potassium keeps it outside. High blood pressure isn't caused by high sodium, it's caused by low potassium. That;s why the FDA won't allow anything more than those worthless 99 mg supps. So Pharma can sell potassium as a DRUG to people who develop cardiac problems as a result of a deficiency. Your heart depends upon the sodium-potassium pump to beat. That's why Pro BBs die at shows as a result of depleting their potassium through Lasix etc. I use potassium chloride and sea salt so look at the label. You may need to put a tablespoon in a gallon. See how much it takes to get 2 g potassium. That would be 1g sodium which is pretty low compared to what the average person gets.
I just killed 30 min cardio and had 3 bananas today and feel like a whole different person as crazy as that may sound
ClassyChassisIt's the potassium bro.
I will try that potassium that maybe why the banana helped so much
I learned it from pj Braun my diet for like this 9 eggs n morning minus 5 yolks , 2 hrs later protien and natural peanut putter no sugar no carbs this goes every 2 hrs then 6oz chicken breast and green leafy salad 1oz walnuts next protein shake and peanut butter next 6 oz salmon green leafy salad finish with protien shake supplements are fish oil 4000 mg daily vitamin d3 10,000iu daily evening prim rose oil 2600 mg day vitamin c 4000 mg daily cardio 30 min everyday and drink min gal water a day!
ClassyChassisOk, that sounds good. Try the potassium. Especially the heart thing, labored breathing, sweating... That's definitely Potassium related.
ClassyChassisEdit: I just re-read your post and I'm thinking it's potassium deficiency. Classic symptoms and potassium is difficult to come by on CKD. Go and get some Morton Lo-Salt at the supermarket. 2:1 ratio potassium to sodium. Take 1/2 teaspoon of that mixed into every liter of water you drink. That should help considerably.
Potassium supps at FDA mandated 99mg are worthless (which is what they want) You need 3g-5g a day so do the math. Get the Lo-salt.
