Low libido after Anti-prolactin discontinuation?

Hey guys i stopped taking bromocriptine 36hr ago. and even though im on a high amount of test, i got this low libido.. one of the hottest chicks walked by me yesterday and started flirting hard. and i just dismissed her like meh!, even w/ my girl im like meh!, so the only thing changed was me stopping bromo. i usually fall into a small mild depression after stopping caber or prami, but never this bad, never had low libido after a anti prolactin. I am assuming its due to low dopa-mine.
Any of u guys get low libido after u stop using any sort of Anti-prolactin?

sadly you can only halve the pills.. liquid caber is crap.. maybe space out the smaller dosages more than 3 days? and continue spacing them out more and more until you stop all together
caber has a ver very long half life like 3-5 days. Maybe longer. Some docs prescribe it once a week.
If you cant go lower than 0.5mg just increase days between doses. Rusty isn't on a high dose so he should be alright if he takes his time dropping it

Still gettin sex daily and off the hook. high mast/low prop currently. After pics will be just low prop while tapering caber. Hcg 5th pin tomorrow at 250iu..
Sounds good bud. After ebc bring up estrogen so you don't feel like a pile of dirt aha but looks good to me

Got any Wellbutrin laying around? It could possibly help you but then again it may not
not really a quick fix. Wellbutrin takes a month to start working, and its sort of a long term drug
BigBmajWellbutrin is one of those antidepressants that I feel almost immediately. It works well but makes it hard for me to sleep.
A Wellbutrin taper started 2 weeks before the end lasting 3 months may be a viable option in the future.
The generic doesn't work nearly as well as Wellbutrin. Sort of like soma that way.

thousands of people have filed complaints, and doctors and pharmacists to this day don't believe it when you say it. I've been on WB for 5 years I've tried every fucking generic. The brand name works best no doubt about it.
I agree! I can feel the effects pretty quickly and I noticed an increase in libido in less than a week. It may've taken longer for me to notice a positive effect on my depression but we aren't necessarily talking about depression in this case..

Yup I know exactly what you mean by MEHH.. The entire fucking month after is a MEHHHHH month.. no fucks given about anything or anyone.. I lose interest in most of my hobbies.. hot girls are MEH, food is MEH, lifting is MEH... everything is meh.. last time it took me 2-3 weeks maybe before I felt normal-ish?
Best way to look at it is you will feel better in a few weeks.. You've felt this way before and it did change after a while.. As long as you keep that in mind it makes it feel a little easier.. I know how when I get in a depressive mind set it can be stressful to wonder if it'll ever go back to normal
being its a dopamine agonist, anytime u go off these, you body isnt getting the right amount of dopamine it can have serious effect on the sex drive mwagner630 goes thru it everytime he comes off prami he even gets depressed for a little and very irritable, all dopamine agonist can have this effect.
dopamine agonist stimulate the receptor in the brains just like dopamine and when your on them it effects your own dopamine production and the longer you are on them the worse it may become. it may after long periods even shut down dopamine production in some cases permenately

AnonProlonged abuse of dopamine agonists can do this but there's no way you've used enough to shut it down PERMANENTLY. The only cases I know of this being completely irreversible is that of methamphetamine addicts that used non stop for years & years
or certain anti-depressants taken, again, for years & years leading to the individual needing drugs to function properly

i was worried about mwagner630 using these so i read a lot on them. seems the forever shut down happens to ppl who use it for years dont come off or have other medical problems, ppl who use meth or dopamine uptake drugs like amphetmines and burn out the dopamine receptor or more likely to have dopamine production issues after using agonist drugs because of the damage the cause to dopamine production and dopamine receptors
prami can revive dopamine receptors that would have otherwise been permanently shutdown.
I think the only way receptors will get shutdown if you you go through a burnout which is usually only applicable from hard drug abuse, methamphetamine, cocaine, ecstasy.
I highly doubt any regular dose caber or prami would permanently shutdown receptors. Now maybe for parkinsons users who use it 3+mg per day for 10s of years possibly but anything less I would believe to be highly unlikely.

Happens to me everytime! It sux! But also to I notice that after a month or so of discontinuation my erections are soooo much harder than while on anti prolactin. It pisses me off!

Just hang in there bro. It will get better. Just make sure your staying on top of your nutrition and also vitamins. Look up vitamins and herbs that up regulate dopamine and start taking em during your off periods. Should help somewhat.
This is an interesting read. After my first Deca cycle I remember that happening to me except I was taking cabergoline. My endo told me to take HCG 250 ius twice a week, after the second dose my libido came back, I was also on my TRT dose as well. I don't know why exactly the HCG seems to up my libido but it does every time. I have read everything on HCG that I can get my hands on but still nothing conclusive other than the stimulation of FSH which for me always drops after a blast cycle to really low levels.

Four weeks at that dosage and when i got my bloods back my estrogen was still in normal ranges.

Same shit Happened to me when I killed the caber end of last cycle. After about a month my cruise level got it back tho. FYI I ran cruise level even thru the cycle. It's got to deal with an imbalance caused by the dopamine fluctuations that takes a lil time to correct. Not sure what tho.
