So what is a fan boy or nut hugger exactly? It's a member who latches onto a particular sources nuts and thinks its his job to defend the source against other members who have concerns. I might be a new mod but I'm a senior member here. I've been here long enough to see the dangers of this shit. For starters, the source doesn't need you to stick up for them. If they are on top of their game, they'll handle the issues that come their way accordingly. If the have a quality customer service they'll reply to customer concerns. When someone places an order and expresses concern for whatever reason , these fan boys come crashing in and attack that member. IT AIN'T HAPPENING!! Everyone has the right to express concerns within reason. If you placed an order and had a good experience, fine, share it. But when some own else comes in and has a different opinion of the source, THEY ARE ALLOWED TO EXPRESS IT JUST LIKE YOU ARE! Nobody will Intimidate another member with concerns about a source. The supplier intro is set up for sources to interact with members. That's where they do their business. LET THEM FUCKIN DO IT!! There is a very real issue called "SELECTIVE SCAMMING". For those who don't know, it's when a source builds his rep, takes care of these fan boys (among others) and scams others out of their hard earned money knowing full well that these nut huggers will back them up and attack the complaining member. So now the guy has not only been waiting months for his pack, but now he doesn't want to inquire about it because he's worried about getting flamed. It's bullshit and I ain't havin it! Last time I'm saying this. EVERYONE has the right to share their experience, good or bad. Anyone who plans on attacking other members in the SI threads will be dealt with accordingly. Consider this your warning. This place is designed for members/customers to share knowledge and experience with each other. To protect each other from scamming. If you love your source so much ask him for a job. Or ask him if you can give him a hand job. I don't care. Just leave the people with issues alone. I know I'm not alone in my thinking. ALL THE MODS WILL BE WATCHING FOR THIS!!

And for the record, nobody likes a yes man! I know I have zero respect for someone who acts like that with me. I may use the info they provide, but they'll never have my respect. When someone exceeds the bounds of praise and drops straight to their knees , it makes us just as sick as it makes you. And the source nutt huggers, news flash, The source looks at you with distain as well.

Aside from pretty substantial business differences, a big reason I left the source I was brewing for was because of all the damn fanboys. The shit started to gross me out and got way out of control after I left. A couple of those guys were so bad that I began to wonder if that's all they had to look forward to in life. It's fine to be appreciative of receiving the goods you've paid for. But it shouldnt go any further than that. I just bought a bad ass tv a couple days ago. Should I have blown the delivery guy because he brought it to me? Hell no. I thanked him for doing his job and giving me the over priced piece of crap I paid for.
I may be a lot of things but I can proudly say that I'm neither one of those. Well put nitti!!

You fuckin guys/girls are the worst! You threaten the integrity of eroids and the system we have in place. Some of you you get guys have no fucking idea what it was like to try and get your hands on gear let alone guaranteed good gear. You're spoiled and its because eroids changed the game! We used to find a site by word of mouth and take a shot in the dark. Pay for an order and wait and wait. It didnt come, we email them and they ignore us. And we couldn't do a damn thing about it! Maybe 6 months down the line you get a pack with all the wrong products or missing stuff. There was no eroids to put them on blast. One person complaining to a source in email isnt going to change a thing. But one person writing a bad review for 10's of thousands of ppl across the world to see, that will get the fuckers to make sure you get taken care of. Because of eroids ,sources now have to be held accountable. If they want to make it and have any real exposure, they need to be here. If they fuck up here, that will follow them everywhere they go. Eroids has a huge member base and a lot of members on different boards who spread be word about fucked up sources. You fuckin fan boys mess up the ebb and flow of the system. You think your comments are harmless when a guy has a problem or complaint and you come in saying "ohh I never had An issue. Gear is gtg abs the source is the man. He calls me Bro :-)". It makes the ppl with issues hesitant to post and let the community know. And don't think that these sources don't know it and capitalize on your fanboyism. I'm bumping this as another warning. I'm not gonna sit back and let it happen and neither is any other mod. This place is growing fast and there is a new generation of members who are being taught the wrong shit about our site. You could be cool with your source. Call him your friend. Chit chat all the time , you could suck each others dicks for all I care, but when a member has an issue with them about an order or product they sent, you had better back the fuck up! Of course you can share your good experience with the source but when it shifts to Shilling for them or flaming other members, I'm coming for you! Zero tolerance from here on out! I wish this post would change things but sadly even when the fan boys reads it he justifies himself by saying "I just tell the truth". I do believe it can deter new members who haven't drank the kool aid of a source to think what kind of members they want to be. What posts like this accomplish for all who sincerely love this place is a sense of security knowing that the BFG & the mods have never sold out the members best interest. I challenge anyone to show me a site with that.

AnonI'm real good at skating on ice, lol. Dead serious. Its hard for me to speak on things with my source tag because I have a general thought or opinion that might be seen as biased. I think the SI is designed for people to get help there is definitely a difference when someone says "I haven't got my pack and its been 7 days," or.. "Ive been getting the worse PIP from this product" etc. I would expect members on mine to offer a solution.. explain the policy if you know it, offer experience as to how you can cut back on PIP.. they didn't get a pack? put them in contact with ME. Ive seen a lot of legitimate complaints being overthrown by fanboys lately.. to a point where people are scared to speak up.. at the point where someone has an issue with their gear, someone who gets free gear from a source to be their #1 fanboy shouldn't be discrediting them.. If someone hasn't got a pack and has been waiting for 3 months, someone shouldn't be saying "dude relax, he's been soo busy.. he'll come through eventually" - why? because i'd be pissed as fuck waiting that long too. give the kid an email, PM him.. HELP him with the knowledge or experience you might have about the source and point him in the right direction to rectify the situation.. but don't act as if his claim is any less reputable than anyone elses.. people are quick to jump on peoples backs when they post a complaint about waiting several months, or being ignored.. but these same people doing the "jumping" are the ones who get free gear, weekly - how fucking hypocritical can we be?.. just my .02, trying to speak in general with all the uses of the word "you." I definitely feel for your guys' job as mods.. I wish other sources realized how bad the lack of help, fan boy linch mobs actually steer people away from ordering. I wish there was a way sources could have control over flagging comments on their own SI - but as easy as that sounds, it would probably create more problems than the simple good we would expect to come from it

But the fact that you do agree its a problem wipes away a little bit of the bias look. It is a problem and its growing. We can't have it! Sources can speak for themselves and ppl don't like to be called names or labeled. But if the shoe fits....

AnonI agree +1 While I do support a few srcs on the site, I agree that bashing them for an issue they had is completely out of line and I'm not much for negativity on the site at all. I do however try to put at ease and give my experience with certain srcs be it from my first go around or from others, and sometimes bridge the gap of communication if they feel as though they are gettin lost in the mix. Its a very fine line but attacking is in no way appropriate and I would definitely encourage you to push this heavily.
Showing support is fine. I think everyone has a favorite source. But when support turns into attack, that's not going to fly. The line is drawn. Sometimes it isn't what you say, but how you say it.
