Test cyp vs Test E any real difference

hey bros, I always ran test E due to availability and never tried Test Cyp.. so i got some test cyp because, i was curious to find out... if there is a difference or if my body would react differently. does anyone know if theres a difference between them? and if there is none, why is Test E more popular?

basskiller89In theory you would be able to take less cyp to maintain the same blood level as e. However, we all know that each steroid works completely different and everybody responds different to different gear and different amounts of gear lol I still think the main difference that comes to mind is cyp has an extra 2 days of half life compared to e. No clue how to calculate if that even matters
For whatever reason (and I sure could be wrong) Enthanate is better for me or Ill see. Test cyp for past 7 months and feel "ok" but ordered enthanate and switching. Will report any diff but im not expecting much. But for 5 years i used only test enthanate and Proviron ...Test Cyp doesnt do what I remember (and Proviron no increase in well being or libido)
AnonI prefer cyp as I find it works faster and I feel it may have a few legs up on enanthate despite statistics. IMO..
Testosterone is testosterone. The difference is the ester. (release times) You get 2mg more of Testosterone with Test E for very 100mg injected.(72mg vs 70mg of actual compound the rest is the weight of the ester) If you did both at 250mg your talking about 5mg....not enough to notice a difference.
AnonYes there is a difference but not a huge one. Test Cyp has a 12 day half life where as Test E has a 10 day the reason for this is because Test C has an extra carbon atom attached to it making it weigh ever so slightly more. Some users have reported slightly extra water retention as a result with C as opposed to E. no clue as to why most choose E over C they are both equally as effective and provide pretty much the same result. Test Cyp seems to be used by more doctors for TRT patients for some reason...I have 3 relatives receiving TRT now all are on Test Cyp. One difference I have seen is Test Cyp comes in 200mg per ml form where as you never see Test E below 250mg per ml no clue why that is but that is just something I have noticed although I have seen some Test blends containing 200/200 of both Test E/C so there ya go

Test Cyp half life is 10 days
Definition of half life means half of the mg u injected goes away on certain amount of days e.g. Injectin Test cyp 500mg 10days later means there is still 250mg in you

Your both wrong on test cyp...its half life is approx 7-8 days...(it says that in the actual link you have posted so maybe you misread the 10 day half life info.)

Darron614I believe the half life of Cypionate is a couple days longer than Enanthate. I don't think it would really be a noticeable difference in one's cycle though.
IMO There is basically no difference.
Only reason E is more popular is probably due to the fact that it can be made at much higher concentrations than Cyp. Cyp tends to crash right by 300mg/ml
