+ 3 Basics on AI/PCT/Prolactin blockers/HCG *All in one place!*

ad

I want to give a simple overview of the most basic compounds in cycling (except the juice itself). I've always wanted to do this but now I'm finally taking the time out to do it. Something similar may already exist but... Oh well (not too much detail will be on each compound but just enough to get the idea. Here we go. I hope this is helpful!

--A.I.--
Aromasin: This is considered a suicide inhibitor. Basically it's an irreversible AI, meaning it in a sense destroys estrogen at it's source in return lowering your estadiol in your plasma. It can also cause a reciprocal increase in testosterone that no type II AI can. Also known for not having an effect on lipids/igf1 at doses as high as 25mg/day. This compound has a short active life at around 8 hours therefore everyday dosing is recommended. (starting dose in my opinion - 6.25mg/ed)

Arimidex: With this compound estrogen is always in production and circulation, it's just being inhibited from binding to certain sites in the body. So instead of killing your estrogen it's just rendering it useless. One problem with this is that when use is ceased that estrogen floating around can now cause you problems! The active life of this is much longer then Aromasin so everyday use is not needed. (my opinion for a starting dose - .25mg/eod)

--PCT--
Nolvadex: This can help raise your testosterone but for the majority it is used in conjunction with Clomid to help block the effects of estrogen. It will not lower your estrogen level but it will block it at the receptor sites eliminating (for example) any risk of gyno.

Clomid: This is used to stimulate hypophysis to release more gonadotropin so that a higher release of FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) and LH (luteinizing hormone) occurs. This raises your endogenous testosterone. Clomid also helps protect you from estrogen sides but it's action as an estrogen blocker is not extremely powerful.

----A protocol of a Nolvadex/Clomid PCT looks like this:
Week 1 - Nolvadex:40mg/ed Clomid:100mg/ed
Week 2 - Nolvadex:40mg/ed Clomid:100mg/ed
Week 3 - Nolvadex:20mg/ed Clomid:50mg/ed
Week 4 - Nolvadex:20mg/ed Clomid:50mg/ed

----A protocol for PCT with Nolvadex/Clomid/Aromasin:
Week 1 - Aromasin 6.25mg/ed Nolvadex:20mg/ed Clomid:100mg/ed
Week 2 - Aromasin 6.25mg/ed Nolvadex:20mg/ed Clomid:100mg/ed
Week 3 - Aromasin 6.25mg/eod Nolvadex:10mg/ed Clomid:50mg/ed
Week 4 - Aromasin 6.25mg/eod Nolvadex:10mg/ed Clomid:50mg/ed

--Prolactin blockers--

Prolactin has very similar effects on our bodies as estrogen. Gyno, water weight, extreme loss of libido and capabilities of getting an erection ect. 19nor compounds such as Deca, NPP and Trenbolone are known to greatly increase progestin buildup.

Caber: Cabergoline is a dopamine agonist. It raises dopamine levels which lowers prolactin levels. Caber can cause some pretty harsh sides on your body so using the lowest effective dose possible is recommended. (recommended starting dose - .25mg/e5d)

Prami: Pramipexole is a dopamine agonist. It raises dopamine levels which lowers prolactin levels. Pramipexole has a higher rate of prolactin supression then Caber. Some studies show it can increase natural GH. Be careful when starting Prami. Start at a very low does and slowly increase as needed to avoid side effects. (staring dose - .125mg/day)

--Natural testosterone production simulator--
HCG: This drug used to mimic the LH (luteninizing hormone) in the body. LH is the hormone that is responsible for making testosterone in the testicles. After a heavy cycle of steroids your testicles will stop producing testosterone due to the use of a synthetic testosterone-mimicking drug. This will result in shrunken testicles that don't work. HCG allows them to be running at normal levels during a cycle making for an easier recover during PCT. (recommended dose - 250iu 2 times a week during the last 6-8 weeks of the cycle stopping 4-5 days before PCT)

+1 for a pct including aro in it. i dont run it the whole 4 wks, but i personally love running it into pct.

Freak_Accident's picture

So much better! Thank you

are you a fan of running your prami/caber into pct too? i feel like prami (my go to) ran in pct also helps with the pct blues a little bit as long as helping block prolactin sides

Never ran a 19nor. NPP is in my next cycle though.

I'm going to write one separate on trip. Seems to be an amazing pep but desensitizing seems to bring up some arguments. I like this kind of stuff!

I'm using everything this time around with pct. 2 days after test prop shot took 1000iu hcg. Every day 12.5 aromasin. 3 days after hcg shot one dose of 300mg clomid, 40mg nolva. Then for about 15 days continued with 100 clomid and 40 nolva and 12.5 aromasin. Last night took the triptorelin shot. I did 100mcg subQ.... really not sure if it should have IM. Today and for the next week I'll be taking 50 clomid and 20 nolva and 12.5 aromasin. The final week I'll drop the aromasin.
