ClassyChassisPotassium and sodium is a balancing act. You need them both. Sodium helps bring fluids into cells and potassium helps them to excrete. The general population has way too much sodium relative to potassium. I'd recommend Morton's Lo-Salt which is 2 parts potassium to 1 part sodium available in any grocery.
. I really prefer a 3:1:up to a 5:1 ratio but that involves buying potassium chloride as you'll never get enough potassium in the 99mg supps mandated by the FDA. You need 3-5g /day for Pete's sake. Of course big bucks are made selling potassium as a drug to people who develop cardiac problems (sodium-potassium pump is what causes your heart to beat), but that's another story. Also, most people don't get enough Magnesium. Magnesium allows muscles to relax, Calcium causes them to contract. Once again, all about balance.
In addition to the Taurine, I'd suggest 1-1/2 to 2 teaspoon/day Lo-Salt and buy some Magnesium citrate powder, take about 600mg/day. I'd recommend the sodium/potassium/magnesium whether you're using clen or not btw.
waltryah i bought some of the 99mg pills the other day but eating 30 of them a day is not gonna happen
lol
Best results for me come from 6 grams of taurine mixed in my workout fluid..... also 3 grams taken just before bed helps you sleep like a baby.
Taurine is a neuro transmitter thats its magic bro..... i have a full write up about it somewhere ill try to find it and post the link here.
Here we have it brother..... enjoy lol

Very interesting read, I for one had no idea how important Taurine is.
I found that Taurine itself @3-5g/day helped a little, I thre a couple bananas in their and increased my water intake and no more cramps.
waltri drink 2+ gallons of water a day as is =/
i'll try the 3g of taurine and bump it up if it doesn't work
thanks
I got those cramps from clen. Like a painful feeling your intestines are tied in a knot? nothing helped other than stop taking clen
waltrit's not my intestines, it's happens in just about every muscle there is now and then
my lower back gets it the worst which is the one i really want to stop, but i was taking a shit the other day and went to wipe my ass and my lats locked up and i couldn't even do it =/
i had to sit there till it went away
lmfao, sorry bro but thats a shitty situation.
waltrtell me about it, it sucked
With taurine three grams is a good daily dosage. You can start at six grams a couple days and it down.
BigBmajCramps that bad? Something is going on. Are you drinking much water? Taking in any other electrolytes? I like magnesium and potassium. I also take multi mineral and multi vitamin to make sure at least some good stuff is around when needed.
My buddy was cramping up from clen like that and I told him to cut down his dose and drink more water. Didn't help, then he got some potassium and added that 3 times a day. He hasn't been back to complain so he must be ok.
Hope you figure it out.
How much salt are you consuming daily?
waltrbasically not very much, i eat ground beef and 2 eggs early in the day and i put salt on that, but that's all my sodium for the day
Ok so with that being said unless your getn ready for stage that is not enough salt. You need a minimum of 1500mg Ed. Up your salt before pottasium and adding taurine and I promise it will do the trick. Had the same problem with another member a couple weeks ago. We upped pottasium and added taurine and nothing then it dawned on me....salt! Asked him his intake and it was really low and he fixed that and within a day or two zero cramps.
Wow, I didn't think of that. That may have been my problem too.. Thanks +1!
Yeh it's usually not the case cuz most people consume plenty of salt Ed. Being on a clean diet tends to dramatically decrease salt levels. Hence less water being stored in the salt and then less water being stored in the muscle. Give it a try and keep me posted boss!
i agree with the salt input but i would only do that if not cutting... i say this with it being summer i dont think many will be bulking right now.... or maybe they are ?? who knows?
True that! I love the way I look on a cut with low salt. When I bulk I put on so much water retention from high salt intake.
the body is good at balancing out. If you intake too much sodium you will piss it out as long as you are taking in enough water.
But not enough salt is also not a good thing
Very very true brother! The body is strong as hell!
yeah its all a big balancing act brother.... thats what keeps it interesting i suppose.
The sweet isn't sweet without the sour lol.
waltrno shit?
i'm gonna give the extra salt a try before i go into the gym today
i really do appreciate the help man
Yeh give it a try brother. Cramping can really effect the outcome of a cycle and locating the source can be a bitch. But most people get it from lack of salt. Keep me posted brother.
waltri put a ton of hot sauce on my chicken breast that i'm eating right now
so i'll let you know when i'm done my shoulder workout later on
Lol hot sauce has a ton of salt in it! I saw your pics and your looking pretty ripped! But def low amount of water on which is a great look but means not much salt in your diet. Which don't get me wrong is a very good thing but in moderation. Try and get about 1500mgs in maybe more today then shred shoulders and tell me how they feel.
waltri can report back that after using hot sauce on all my chicken meals today and taking 2g taurine and 300mg potassium i was completely cramp free during a 2 hour shoulder/traps workout
thanks for the advice i seriously do appreciate it
Glad to hear bro! Cramps f ing suck! Now you know the source and can continue to turn into a monster lol.
I saw Andromeda post that she was doing 1000 mg of Taurine 3x a day and 100mg potassium. I only did 1000 of taurine and it was not enough. Cramps were terrible.
