Proper sterilizing and injecting, did i miss anything?
Well I'm a noob here so far and I'm 3 weeks into my first cycle test/deca - tbol kick start
And I just got over a nasty looking infection that set me back a little,
(First thread so please don't be harsh)
Here is what I do to sterilize If i'm missing anything please let me know.
1, wash hands in anti bacterial soap,
2, grab two brand new needles which are in wrapping.
3, put alcohol on a cotton ball and clean the surface of the test/deca bottles.
4, put alcohol on a new cotton ball and clean the needle.
5, fill needle 1 with test.
6, clean off injection site with new cotton ball and alcohol.
7, inject test
8, toss needle
9, put alcohol on a new cotton ball and clean needle 2.
10, fill needle 2 with deca.
11, clean off injection site again with new cotton ball and alcohol, making sure no blood in near from first injection.
12, inject deca
13, clean off both injections with new cotton ball using alcohol.
14, toss needle
Did i go wrong and am i missing anything, yes i aspirate, and yes that day before the infection i might have missed a step or so.

welcome to eroids !!! kinda off topic but maybe try using one needle to pull from bottle then remove that needle tip with a fresh one, makes a big difference keeps everything sharp and not dull.
Did anyone mention not to try and sterilize the needle yet?
It's not just germs, you risk adding foreign particles (e.g. cotton fibers) into the puncture site.
No1Dont clean the needle, its already sterile
Don't compromise the needle. It's already sterile out of the pack, don't let it touch anything after you take off the cap.
yup, forgot to say that also..good point
use needle to pull oil, then use new needle to pin... to make it easier pull the oils with the same needle, switch needles and pin (deca and test in same syringe, less poking)

AnonI hate needles and I become a shakey wimp when it's time to thump it in there. Tomorrow is my next pin day, I'm pretty excited to only have to pin once with a sharp new needle.
Do not clean the needle after you unwrap it don't touch the needle with anything even a cotton ball with alcohol.. The needle is already sterile out of the package. Cleaning it with alcohol might contaminate the needle rather than sterilize it. Watch this video about its only like two minutes.
