I was dumb and naive and I thought I knew what love was ..38 now, And I feel like I've wasted a big part of my life . But now that I have them two, that's all I need . God has been good to me.
Long story short, I just got too my new base and was sitting in the common area of the dorms watching a basketball game. This pretty girl with nice chestticles asked me for a favor and me being the fucking horn ball that I am said YES, not knowing what I was getting into. Well turns out her roommate’s boyfriend was convinced that he was having a threesome and was not leaving until it happened. I get the guy too leave the room and called the cops.
I slept in her chair and we have not left each other’s side since that was 11 years and 1 son ago. So when I my wife complains about me watching sports I remind her that if it was for my passion for sports we would not have met.

I was 17 and she was 18. Her brother was my best friend. I was that kid that parents didn't want there kids to run with. I was a high school drop out and on the verge of going to prison because my antics became worse and more frequent. I am still not sure how I got her to go in the first date with me. I never even considered her as a possibility. We were literally from opposite sides of the tracks. She was Homecoming Queen and Prom Queen and I was public enemy #1 with all the jocks and popular kids in school. They would do anything to keep there girls from talking to me. However she stuck with me through some pretty trying times. I remember we were at a dance at my court ordered drug rehab. I knew right then that this is the girl I wanted to marry so I asked her right there. It still makes me laugh because she said I'm not marrying someone who doesn't have a high school diploma. Before we were married I went back for my GED and since then I went to school for 4 more years and the rest is history. We did everything right. We were married, then we bought a house and planned both of our kids. She would do anything for me and I her. It will be 23 years in August. She's still my girl. Too many people put their kids above there significant other. This is one of the worst things you could do. She is my number one and we're a team when it comes. to the kids. If they are dealing with their mom they know she's just an extension of me and visa versa. Never call each other names out of anger!
Right on and good for you. I can relate to your story very much as I got married at that age. Way to go on 23 years coming up! I especially agree with the part about the kids. We love our children very much and would lay down our lives for them, but we still put each other first.

AnonOk please don't take this wrong munchkin cuz it's a true story. Whenever any of my boys fall in love and try telling me how this girl is the best and how they found the one. I ask them a very simple direct but a bit gross question.

I definitely don't mean that in a crude or demeaning fashion whatsoever. This is why I ask it. When I was 20 I met my wife. She was 17. We fell in love quick and she moved in at 18. We loved hard fucked hard and fought hard. We broke up at least once a week. We lasted this way for five years. Now here I am at 25 not sure whether I was coming or going with this girl. Then one day while at work framing this house. I was walking the second story top plate. For those who frame they know this is the top of the second story wall. I was walking back to my extension ladder and started to climb down when it slipped out from under me and I fell about 16ft from where my feet were. I landed on the concrete foundation and broke my tailbone and herniated three discs in my lumbar spine.
My girl rushed 2.5hrs from where we live to come to some clinic in the cuts where I was working. I was all fucked up and in so much pain it was almost unbearable.
Well needless to say I couldn't sit or lay on my back for about 6wks and basically lived on my stomach like a snake. When I first had to shit I didn't think about the cleaning myself part. Well I found out quick I couldn't get anywhere close to even touching my ass let alone wiping clean. As I'm in the bathroom in full panic I realize there is only one thing to do. I had to call out for her help. I called her name and she came to the door and asked what I wanted. I couldn't bring myself to say the words. All I could get out is "Baby I'm so sorry" She didn't know what I meant and she opened the door. Once she saw me I almost burst into tears I was so ashamed.
She immediately understood and without words she cleaned me. In that moment I never felt so low but so thankful. I knew that second that I would never find another woman who loved me that much. Who would wipe my motherfucking shitty ass. Seriously, that's so gross and disgusting but I was completely helpless and unable to fend for myself I was injured so bad.
So there it is. That's how I knew she was the one. So ask yourselves would ur woman do that for u? Would you women do that for ur man?
If the answer is yes quit wasting time and get married already cuz that's total loyalty and selflessness.

Last time I gave a shit I got fucked. Now I run through women left and right, and always have something to fall back on. Usually they want something more out of me but by then I'm on to the next.
With the state of today's society, the idea of marriage seems to be an outdated institution to me.
Maybe I will find "the one" someday, but until then I will just continue enjoying my life and dating a lot of women. I dunno, maybe monogamy and comitment just isn't for me, there's just too much to lose when you give all your power to a single woman.

I don't hold anger towards women at all. I was just posting last month that I have been a player for quite some time and didnt really find anybody that made me want to change my ways. I was set in my player mentality.
I have since found somebody that Made me want to put that lifestyle aside and it is refreshing to have intimate feelings other than purely sexual for the first time in a long time. I'm with her now exclusively so we shall see where this goes.

One of two things will occur in your situation. 1- you will never exprience the most precious part of being in "deep" love because that occurs when you make yourself vulnerable. It occurs in that place where you say to her "I've given you all I have, shown you all there is to see and now you know just exactly how to hurt me".
in that place , if the chemistry is ther, you will find the most amazing part of love and it will get better and better with each passing dy or you will be hurt and have to move on. In my opinion its worth the risk knowing the dividends are so high if you made a good choice.
Or 2...you will never allow yourself to get to your most vulnerable place in a relationship and you will not "get hurt", you will spend your life hurt . Btw, that's what you are doing now, you are not allowing yourself to get hurt because deep down you are living your life hurt from the previous. As long as you are "going through girls" you are just hurting inside from your past experience.
You know what else you are doing by not allowing yourself to be vulnerable? Not allowing yourself to heal. I say this because when you do gget truly hurt, deeply hurt, the only thing that will heal you is to find that deep meaningfull passion in love againm. Once you allow yourself to find that again, you will get past the pain that caused the words you wrote here.
I happen to think you don't really mean what you're saying. I think you are taking your hurt (not anger) out on other women as though somehow its paying back the one that hurt you and its not, its simply allowing you to drag hurt around with you day after day.
I'm at a pl?ace in my life where I refuse to drag around pain, anger, sadness, anything negative. I experience it, cope with it, deal with it then most importantly...get over it. Why do you assume it's going to be her getting the D from someone else? Sounds to me like you could very well be you getting the P from some hoe off the street with the mentality you have. I can say this, women are completed creatures we love like you've never seen, we think everything through, we do not always have a plan and we want to be loved, needed, wanted. pleased, talked to, looked at and even worshiped at time. We want it all, everything from the selfishness to the cuddles and kisses on the forehead. We need to be treated like a partner, a friend and a buddy. We are jealous, picky and bitchy.
