Week 7 of my 21 week run. Been down the past 2 weeks. Went to the hospital the other day and found out I have a herniated disc. So trying to take it as easy as possible but trying to get some results regardless even on my down time. Im not getting to lift like i want to. Posing fucking sucks, I know! Fuck it! I'm trying!

Thanks, bro! No surgery. I went to the chiropractor for many many visits and we got everything straight. No pun. Just have to make sure to wear a belt when I go heavy.:)

Good on you for getting Chiropractic care - it's been a staple of my treatment / injury prevention for years.
Regarding your back; not sure if you'll find this useful or not (especially with your girl) but I started sleeping directly on the floor about a month ago; for me anyways it totally helps get rid of my lower back pain, and seems to help my body "feel" solid again. Every other year or so I'll sleep on the floor for a few months just to get my back feeling strong again
Have you tried Rolfing / deep tissue massage sessions immediately before getting adjusted? I go 2x / week, and always get deep tissue BEFORE getting adjusted - gets you nice and loose first.
Another thing that's made my lower back much stronger is primarily doing front-squats instead of back squats (my understanding is that even with a slipped disc, if you dedicate a training day more often to lower back, building those muscles up and strengthening them more than you already have can actually compensate / act as further support for your spine). My Dad is a DC, so I'm lucky to have been exposed to a lot of interesting stuff. Here's a training sequence + breakdown of my FS routine:

There's always 2 schools of thought on belts - and I don't know which is correct? I've found for me I prefer training without one, because otherwise I start to depend on it too much.
Last parting thought: I don't know why you're hard on yourself about your posing? Looks like you've got everything dialed man! You've got an interesting physique that can win you a lot of shows man. Crazy length and long muscle-bellies - good shit amigo!

i recovered from a back injury displaced degenerating discs. while on cycle. while our goals of usiang aas are probably not similar, i feel like you can benefit from tb500 and some good chiropractic work. i couldnt even roll over in bed. end of cycle i was leaner and meaner than ever before in my life. im just warming up on this cycle but i can already see if im injury free i will be the best version of me ever

I feel like a little elaboration is needed. Forgive me Abaddon for doing a little hijacking of your thread here:). First it doesn't matter if he works his legs or doesn't have any it doesn't take away from how good of shape that he is in. Second post pictures if you want to ask a sarcastic question about whether people train certain parts. We have real BB pros on here who don't come off that way. And even if you are the best BB in the world and you spoke to someone here that way, I will still call you out for it, because it is not what we do here.

I don't have the sweeps that I would like to have but I will one day. In no way am I ashamed of my legs though. I feel like I have a great hanging hamstring and I'm starting to get a lot of definition on the top of my quads. I appreciate the hijack permission lol. I hate negative stuff and clearly when out of pure jealousy. I look at Bodybuilder he in my opinion has one of the most impressive builds I have ever seen. But not only that he he excellent at helping and giving advice! I have watch him and others Viking, Goth, Grrrl, etc go after people who are negative towards others progress. Thanks, Supa Fly Snuka! Ill be damned I get 7 weeks into a killer ass cycle and an injury stop me. I'm really pissed that I can't squat or deadlift right now. Give it a couple of more weeks and then we'll see how it feels. My homie "NextBigThing" gave me a link to a couple of lifting belts. I'm gonna check into those. Better safe than sorry from here out.

I have a couple injuries myself at the moment, and am gonna get some tb500 to see if it'll speed up healing. I've never used, but it looks promising and u might look into it as well.
