Is it possible i am over training? Please give input

ad

Hello Friends, So i have been making great gains over the past few months but recently. I have been continuing to gain strength but i am not putting on the size i would expect. I have upped my caloric intake to try to fix this, i have upped my intake greatly over the past 3 weeks and i am stuck at my same weight basically. Trying to figure out if i am doing something wrong..

Any input would help.

Thanks as always my friends.

just wondering what your pumps are like ? lack of pumps would be indicative of over training ... weight is a poor indicator of progress in many cases. every 4 or 5 months or so I change my training schedule to shock the muscles.. the body strives to adapt to the stressors (training) and when it does growth stops. Change your tactics to stimulate growth.. also, are you stretching at all while training? this will increase the pumps and of course the blood flow to the muscles.

If you are still gaining strength you are not overtraining. Gaining strength indicates that your muscles are repairing themselves properly and therefore the gains in strength. Getting weaker and feeling worn out are classic symptoms of overtraining.

I don't think it's possible to overtrain. The best gains I ever made was when I was lifting 6 days a week 2 times a day hitting each bodypart 6 times a week. It was sick how much strength and size I added over about a 3 month period. I think undertraining is more of a problem really.

looking at a scale is not the answer. Look in the mirror. Notice the feel of the weights.
