T3 dosing/ experience
ad
Need some input on T3 dosing and experiences.
I've used T3 before and tapered the dose up and down. I've recently been hearing people say they take 100 mcg two days on, two days off and also adding T4 300mcg 2 days on/ off.
What are your experiences on either method and what would you advise?
My stats are
6.4
115 kg
15% BF
29 years
Just come off a classic Sus and Deca bulk.
Will be running EQ 600mg PW, and Test E 500 PW for 16 weeks with a clean diet.

I hope that isn't your real name, if it is hopefully you live in a country where AAS use and possession is legal.
shirlsguyI'm running currently as the second of three Clen/T3 cycles at 200mcg/100mcg respectively one week long. Ramped up rapidly week one, cycle one week and looking very forward to ramping down and off in two days. Total cycle length will have been three weeks (just over the two week period). Max BP and HR was 162/107 - 112 after a brisk walk.
I did my first of three Clen/T3 cycles for the two week on two week off, maxing at Clen/T3 120mcg/50mcg and that was just fine. Max BP and HR was 154/86 - 74 after a brisk walk. I have cut 7-inches from the gut and only lost 9-lbs mass (14-lbs at one point due to gear problem but replace tren and weight coming back).
Always take 100mg VAR daily with Clen/T3 to maintain muscle mass, but with the high dose, nothing can save all the muscle. Tren 75mg ed and Var and still losing some mass with this cycle.
My final (of three sets) cycle of Clen/T3 will go back to the 120mcg/50mcg for a two week period... actually longer but I don't want to lead people astray. Photos of progress...

Congrats on losing 7 inches. Very inspiring! I look forward to looking more into Clen/T3 cycles after reading about your experience.
Thanks for the pictures!
I've been reading on T3 and our thyroid a lot lately as T3 is my favorite fat burner. It sure seems that our thyroid is much more resilient that than popular belief. Most studies show that it's extremely uncommon/unlikely to have your thyroid shut down after t3 use. This would mean, why waste the time tapering up and down. Just get to the highest tolerable dose and blast.
This is not the full article but still worth reading.
Nandi (RIP) researched and wrote a great article on T3.
This is what I consider the most important myth-busting part of Nandi's article:
Like the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis, the thyroid gland is under negative feedback control. When t3 levels go up, TSH secretion is suppressed. This is the mechanism whereby exogenous thyroid hormone suppresses natural thyroid hormone production. There is a difference though between the way anabolic steroids suppress natural testosterone production and the way t3 suppresses the thyroid. With steroids, the longer and heavier the cycle is, the longer your natural testosterone is suppressed. This is not the case with exogenous thyroid hormone.
An early study that looked at thyroid function and recovery under the influence of exogenous thyroid hormone was undertaken by Greer (2). He looked at patients who were misdiagnosed as being hypothyroid and put on thyroid hormone replacement for as long as 30 years. When the medication was withdrawn, their thyroids quickly returned to normal.
Here is a remark about Greer's classic paper from a later author:
"In 1951, Greer reported the pattern of recovery of thyroid function after stopping suppressive treatment with thyroid hormone in euthyroid [normal] subjects based on sequential measurements of their thyroidal uptake of radioiodine. He observed that after withdrawal of exogenous thyroid therapy, thyroid function, in terms of radioiodine uptake, returned to normal in most subjects within two weeks. He further observed that thyroid function returned as rapidly in those subjects whose glands had been depressed by several years of thyroid medication as it did in those whose gland had been depressed for only a few days" (3)
These results have been subsequently verified in several studies. (3)(4) So contrary to what has been stated in the bodybuilding literature, there is no evidence that long term thyroid supplementation will somehow damage your thyroid gland.
Just my POV. Have a good night.
shirlsguyWe read the same study and that is where I came up with my ramp method.... fast up, fast down... run the max I can toletate.... THAT SAID.... I do not suggest higher than 100mcg daily of T3, I have not found people who have had a good experience. My BP results above make a pretty good showing that more is not a good idea and I normally have low BP.
I totally agree. I'm currently at 100mcg of t3 and 100 mcg clen and cardio is tough. My cardio is always excellent even with a few extra pounds but on a cycle like this I struggle a bit. I'm leaning out very nicely though. Using this cycle along side 700mg/week prop and 50mg tbol/day and so far so good. I have another 3 weeks to go. We'll see what happens!
Ricky BarnettVery informative. Thanks buddy
No worries.
