I bet you that those who have gotten salmonella from eating raw eggs would never do it again.
AnonAs long as they are pasteurized or put through an irradiation process they are fine. If they are salmonella bound, your just as at risk with cooking them. aim to buy GRADE AA eggs.
AnonThanks for the responses guys! Im gonna put them in my shakes from now on.
Give them a vote if you find it helpful.PermalinkI drink them. But i toss them in the micro for about a min / min and 1/2
Make sure it kills anything.
10 every morning 8 whites and 2 whole. Been doing it since last April. No problems here (knock on wood) no taste really once you get past the thought of it.
I drink 3-4 yolks daily, been doing it for years u can mix it with orange juice and u barely taste it at all
i drank 12 whites and 2 yolks a week ago. i didnt get sick... but the taste and texture is pretty gross. almost bad enough for me to hurl.
i have raw egg whites with oj for breakfast . never got sick . if your worried i think they sell pasteurized eggs kind of pricey.
Superior source of protein and easily digestible. Have been utilizing them for years. Risk of salmonella poisoning is extremely low. Only 1 in 30,000 eggs is tainted.
Liquid egg whites is perfect drink that right up or put in shake or smoothie
I've have three large chicken farms as business clients... No way in hell!
well .. yeah.. I suppose I should have qualified my statement with ... I get my eggs from the chicken coop in the back yard
Nice! In that case, bottoms up.
I throw raw eggs into my shakes all the time .. have since I was a kid actually when my mom used to do it..
AnonI think its more like 1/1000 bro.. I scoff 2 or 3 almost everyday ive never had salmonella!
That sounds pretty manly of you. Let me know how it goes.
