+ 5 Milk thistle and your androgen receptors
Milkthistle (silyMarin) and its effective use for liver protection have been proven in many studies.. It has been shown to help reduce liver enzymes during heavy liver toxic steroid cycles. But most people know this and that's why they chose to go with milk thistle instead of another liver protectant. Milk thistle has been found to down regulate the androgen receptors through slowing down or blocking a process called nuclear localization of the prostate androgen cells. Nuclear localization is an amino acid sequence that imports proteins into the nucleus of a cell which then Transfers the cells to your androgen receptors.this means that milk thistle actually slows the process of androgens actually making it to AR hence less gains. if u decide to do a liver toxic steroid and have no other liver protectant then milk thistle will suffice.tudca/udca have been my personal favorite. I have ran both milk thistle and tudca/udca and I noticed a great deal of difference in my health while on cycle.T/u is more expensive but a much more effective supplement not only IMO but has tons of studies to back that up. T/U has not only been found to reduce liver enzymes but has been found to actually repair damaged liver tissue in patients with hepatitis,cirosis,and steroid users. Google "TUDCA NIH", which stands for US National Institute of Health, for the studies done on humans and rats.
I too use TUDCA in powder form from caps I make of 600 mg each. I take 2 a day for 1200 mg a day. One is taken with any orals I take in the morning and one at nighttime.
I also take 1 G of NAC daily as that also has proven research on its ability to protect and reduce liver enzymes.
I use to use Liv.52 DS, but since stopped once I started with TUDCA and NAC. There was only one study available online where Liv.52 showed to help liver enzymes after alcohol consumption. I could not find enough emperical evidence which shows Liv.52 helps protect liver when using orals.
From my own experience and blood results taken while on it I still had slightly higher liver enzyme levels while just take test base as transdermal for HRT and drinking 2 glasses on wine a night. I was not on any orals for months prior to the blood draws. So I stopped using Liv.52, as I take enough other better supplements for liver.

It's pretty interesting stuff. Milk thistle will def help protect the liver and that is more important than protecting gains so make sure if you stop taking it to replace it with another liver protectant.

Thank you guys! Figured I would put in my two cents. Check out aegis by anteaus labs contains both tudca/udca that's the one I always use lil expensive but it has been hands down my favorite.
