+ 5 What is gynecomastia and treatment
OK members I saw that there was not a topic on what gyno actually is and some of the treatments.
For you members that didnt know gynecomastia is the enlargement of mammary glands in male breast tissue. It can be caused by an imbalance of hormones such as testosterone estrogen as well as Aldactone. Studies have shown the sex hormone binding globulin hormone to play a big roll in attributing to gynecomastia because it lowers the amount of free testosterone in the body. Many males can acquire "gyno" as young men through neonates which are female hormones giving to the child from there mother. Gyno can be caused by anabolic steroid use as well, Ofcourse there are preventative measures that one can take to assure they do not get gyno. We will talk about that in a second.
SYMPTOMS: swelling or enlargement of the breast, sensitivity of the nipples, and lactation of the nipples.
TREATMENT: if gyno arises there are several treatment compounds one can take.
Gyno prevention compounds:
Aromasin: a suicide estrogen inhibitor.
Dosage: 12.5mg Ed or raise to 25mg if high estro symptoms persist.
Arimidex: an aromatise inhibitor that binds to estrogen in the body and helps the body better control estrogen.
Dosage: .25mg e3d or can be raised to .5mg-1mg if symptoms persist.
Progesterone prevention compounds:
Cabergoline: a dopamine agonist that will lower progesterone in the body.
Dosage: .5mg E3d is sufficient
Prami: also a dopamine agonist but tends to have harsher side effects than caber.
Dosage: .25mg starting dose and adjust from there if needed.
Gyno reversal compounds:
VERY POTENT BE CAREFUL!!!!
Letro: a very very potent aromatise inhibitor which has been said to help reverse gyno.
Dosage: .25mg-.5mg Ed and gyno reversal can be a taper from
Day 1:2.5mg
Day 2:1.75mg
Day 3: 1mg
Day 4: .5mg
Day 5: .25mg
And get back on to a preventative as gyno symptoms recede.
Surgery: one can set an appointment to go have liposuction conducted on the enlarged breast or reduction mammoplasty but this is a last resort.
Conclusion: gyno is not fun! So make sure if you decide to use aas you are prepared to prevent or deal with gynecomastia. Research research and research again! Good luck everyone!

How likely is someone to get Gyno if they are older than 25 and run a cycle properly?

Gynecomastia Pills - crazybulk.com ive been taking this product for about a year and not only have i got a more masculine chest, but also alot of excessive body fat.
It is more so based on each individuals body. Obviously if your older like Middle Aged your body doesn't function as well as it did at 24 but somebody who is 50 could still have a better functioning body than a 24 yr old.
Letro doesn't reverse gyno. It will greatly reduce size to just about nothing but doesn't kill it, only surgery gets rid of it completely. Good write up tho

Not very noticeable but small lumps under my nipples. What about Raloxifene?

I know surgery is the best option but just wondering if there's a way to reduce them a little bit as my case is not that bad. i guess it's more psychological than anything but just trying to see if anyone has successfully reduced their natural gyno... Not that much info about Raloxifene out there...

If you have had it that long I would imagine running letro will do more damage than good. Odds are you will need surgery to remove swollen glands. Def something a doctor should asses. Sorry brother.

Is Gyn diff from fat deposits on breasts from weight gain or is it diff?
At my top shape, ECG, lots of cardio, I've always had a layer to the point of being joked with--

Yes gyno is something you will def be able to feel the difference between. Gyno is a swollen gland with an extreme amount of nerves involved. A fat deposit is just that...a deposit of fat and will cause less discomfort than gyno. I hope this answers your question? I'm sorry to hear about your troubles. Hope you get it all worked out.
UPnSMOKEGyno can start with simple lumps that feel like fatty deposits. Itchy nips are another. Tenderness and hypersensitivity. Some guys can even develop a touch of arousal from touching of the nipples. The progesterone which causes the lactation is the cause. U are slowing developing breasts and just like a woman u can get aroused. When u get really puffy nips where they are begining to look deformed or hard lumps behind the nipple at the gland its probably too late. Some guys get so much pain to even have someone bump up against it in a crowded bar is enough to make em scream or at least want to.
Having gyno is like having a dick that don't work. Nothing will ruin ur self esteem like those two.

This isn't a bad post. Many people can learn a little bit or a lot bit from here. Maybe mention that masteron can be used to an extent as a preventative.... Not as effective as other AI's possibly, but worth mentioning as we'll as bromocriptine for prolactin. Good post brother! I think Irish mentioned a great point ... Symptoms. That's a need to know. I dug the read nonetheless.

GearofWarDon't forget about my personal fave: Aromasin. Oh yeah, and Proviron has a high affinity for the aromatase enzyme so when used with compounds that tend to aromatise its good at REDUCING estrogenic sides( I hope I made P proud).
TropicanaJuiceNo gyno is not fun, been dealing with it for years no because I fucked up a cycle of prohormones and before this site I had no idea how to treat it, a couple years went by and by then for me at least it was already set in and too late, I tried letro and nolva, letro and aromasin twice. No results. Finally got gyno surgery (bilateral masectomy) and am three weeks post op. actually got my insurance o cover it after my surgeon fought with the insurance company for two months
Damn brother! I'm really sorry you had to go through that! How does the surgery site feel post op? And how was the surgery experience I mean pain an time wise? Glad your insurance covered!
TropicanaJuicePain was not bad at all, a bit sore but not bad. I actually did a leg workout the very next day. Stayed away from upper body for a couple weeks just to be safe. May start light chest this week then go heavy on my 4th week post op. the only thing that sucked was I had to get drained every week in the one side and once on the other. I got about 120 ccs drained from my one side every week which sucked only because there was a lot of fluid and my chest looked very swollen and worst then before I had the surgery, but as soon as my doc drained it with a needle my chest went flat.
Ya def heal up first! Gym is not going anywhere lol. Holy crap 120cc of fluid that's nuts. Is it just the body having a reaction to the gland missing?
TropicanaJuiceYes that's it, it's called seroma fluid. It's crazy watching him take out 120 ccs with a big ass needle and my chest goes completely flat. It's hopefully my last time I have to get it drained usually 10-14 days post op it stops
I hope so man that's crazy! I would pass out haha. I remember when I got my wisdom teeth pulled one got infected and had to get it drained several times and it would fill up 1/4 cup of puss and stunk like shit lol I almost passed out then. Hope it heals well for you bro no man should have to deal with that!
