Steroid detection times tend to not be very important to most as 85% of aas users do it for personal reasons the so called "gym rat". But for the other 15% of steroid user this list might be of importance to the athletes,bodybuilders, and powerlifters.

FUN FACTS

The aas users that have to worry about detections times have one way or another been tested for anabolic steroids. The usual test consist of a testosterone/epitestosterone ratio test in which the limit is a 6:1 ratio. Some organizations even hold a strict 4:1 ratio. Also will be asked to perform a urinalysis or a hair follicle test which has been known to be flawed and will most likely not be used.

Another kind of test that is utilized is a polygraph test in which one can be expected to be asked of recent steroid use.

Now for the ifbb pro tests and npc the competitors are only tested for diuretic use. The reason they are tested for diuretics is because diuretics have been thought to contribute to deaths of competitors and are consider a high risk.

Here is a list of steroids and there detection times. Also the ester in which these steroids are attached to can play a role in half life's and affect detection times as well. Always assume that the detection time is on the longer end of the scale to ensure "safe passage" so to say.

parabolan(tren hex): 4-5 weeks
oral dianobol: 5-6 weeks

anavar: 3 weeks
oral winstrol: 3 weeks

andriol: 1 week
clenbuterol: 4-5 days
test suspension: 1-3 days
