Juiced by Jose Canseco

ad

I was at work yesterday and randomly came across Juiced by Jose Canseco on my friend/co-workers desk. I picked the book up, and read 3 or 4 chapters!! My friend that i have known for 15 years was reading the book after reading it was motivated to consider using AAS. This friend of mine is more of a beast than i am in the gym on the natural tip. So i broke down and told him that i have been using AAS the last couple years. My secret is out, now i'm going to help him do his first cycle once he does his research of course. Research Research... Now i am going to finish reading this book by Canseco!!!

By the way how is using Steroids in Baseball or any sport cheating??? AAS doesn't not make you hit home runs/score touch downs you have to have the skill to play ball...

Has anyone read this book??? or any others to suggest??

No doubt!!!!
That's why baseball exploded. People love the long ball. The big guys drove up the spending in baseball 10 fold because of the lure of the long ball. Did it taint the natural game? Sure but if everyone had the choice to do it, so be it. I agree it can't make you be a better player but it can improve your bat speed and power. Bonds/Arod/Ramirez. Those guys are naturals but enhanced they were beasts. Arod/Ramirez and the like clearly declined after they stopped. Age also being a factor of course

You're damn right they would. And just wait for gene manipulation to come into play. 350 pound guys that can run 4.2 40's and have 50 inch verticals lol.

Back in the late 90's I was in the strength and conditioning of a MLB team. This is how I got my bodybuilding career going. Yes back than everyone was juicing !! Canseco was a beast However there was one bigger than him! And it wasn't Barry ! Back than juice was like candy to them guy's ! I trained two guys all summer long and into spring training. Now they want to start testing or HGH ? Well they are late for that also! Here is what was said back then ! "Yes we have more power but we still have to hit the ball ! Hand and eye coronation is 80% when going up to the plate. Just wait more and more MLB players as they get older will Amit using !! All yea the book was O.K

You just touched on a subject that can get my ass fired up. I'm not gonna give many details, but just know that I played baseball at a high level until my mid 20's and I juiced. Lots of guys did. I mean tons of guys actually. I've debated this with many of my friends in this past but generally don't talk about that point in my life much at all any more. Steroids did not make me through 95 mph. They did not teach me a slider or a nasty change up. I could do all that before running gear. They had nothing to do with me hitting my locations better, in fact probably hinder that because I got a little bound up and it altered my mechanics a little. What they did offer me was a quicker recovery time. I was a closer and most days, I felt very fresh and rested even if I had thrown the day before.
