Donating Blood & Serum Levels
curious to know something from the vets.. i have read that donating blood can provide the benefit of lowering levels of enzymes, e2, etc. This makes sense to me on a small scale regarding enzyme levels. As for the e2, i realize that it's only removing so much and that amount will be negated soon enough if an AI is not part of the regimen. I am completely familiar with aromatization and how to control it, so i am more or less curious to know what would be the benefit, or detriment, of donating blood during cycle. it makes sense to me that this would not only provide a drop in liver enzyme levels, but also serum levels of the cycle hormones. to me, that equates to detriment, unless the liver enzymes are extremely high and this is the most feasible option for gaining control quickly.
what are your thoughts, fellas?

I usually donate 1 week prior if I'm planning a cycle, to clear out my RBC count. Then a week or so after. Either way I go every 60-90 days or thereabouts just to keep my blood from getting to thick. I don't experience fainting and don't get lightheaded (until the somas kick in).... Never thought about how it affect liver enzymes.. Im sure you'll get that phone call if you've given yourself hepatitis or some shit. GIVE LIFE!!!!! Yoked has a nice ass!
Whoa. That kind a threw me off. U sharing your experiences in a sober manner. Then you had threw in the last sentence. Then I knew it was T_luva, not an imposter. Good info bro.
Yeah he was really helpful at first, then just flattering at the end.
Heheh...u dudes from Perf's SI are demented. I'm lurker there for now...but there's quite a few chuckles in there.
Anoni catch myself wondering around in that side of town a lot...
Ive warned my wife to not do any snooping in there. It's gets pretty weird at times.

AnonI got my edumacation..
nuthin like a good ole prostate smoothie!
I've always hated donating blood while on cycle because I have a tendency to feel extremely fatigued for the next day or so. It's not anemia related or anything like that. I think it like has something to do with the sudden drop in RBC count. I'm a TRT guy so I'm basically always on gear and my RBC levels are generally always on the high side. Side note, I donated plasma when I was in college many moons ago. I was able to donate twice as much as him and we were roughly tbe same weight. I was on gear he wasnt. I haven't tbought about this stuff in years. Damn now I'm all interested again.
Anonyeah, it drains me. and whoever is reading this thinking about giving blood: do not go out and hit the gym the next day. you will regret it! lol
thing is that red blood cells carry an iron-containing protein called hemoglobin. hemoglobin's main function is to carry oxygen to the cells. because working muscles - including cardiac, lungs, and muscles - all need oxygen to contract, decreasing RBC count equates to decreased oxygen delivery, which in turn equates to fatigue.
i made the mistake of giving blood, then hitting the gym before a busy day of work the next day. OMFG... won't be doing that shit again.
Maybe just time so the next day is a breakday. I'd be interested to see what BP would pre-donation and then post-donation. I have one those home digital blood pressure machines...maybe I'll try this just for kicks.
Lol there's more to them giving you a cookie than just saying thanks. How many times have you seen someone stand up after donating and then faint, or if your a guy, black out? I love reading posts like this because it's such an integral part of what we do but so often goes over looked.
AnonI've never seen anyone faint, but I'd pay them at donation to be able to. My ole lady throws up and faints when she does. I had to pick her up from work one day cuz she threw up and fainted in the life share bus. Wish I could have seen that...
Lmao that's good stuff.
Gave double red blood cell one time, and I could get drunk of two beers for month.
Ah gotta love the cheap drunk.
On the ball brother...u didn't waste time.
Anonx2
Anonhaha. you got me curious!
AnonRoids raise RBC count, donating blood is good because it will lower RBC in your body and help some poor guy out. Thats as far as my knowledge goes. I hate needles in my veins. Dont flinch on a IM injection, but I hate IV.
Anonneedles don't bother me either way. thanks for adding about the red blood cells. you're correct. i probably should have elaborated more instead of putting "etc"...
